A little comfort can go a long way!

Canopy Village recently received a thoughtful donation of comfort bags created by youth from Church of Jesus Christ - North Idaho. Each bag was filled with goodies, including snacks, adorable hand-crocheted stuffed animals, and sensory balls!

These special gifts are already bringing smiles to the children we serve. Thank you to these wonderful young people for sharing their time, creativity, and kindness with Canopy Village!

We ventured over to Kootenai Fairgrounds to “souport” St Vincent de Paul North Idaho at their annual Soup Festival. Amazing event with a great turnout and some amazing soups!

On Wednesdays, we wear PINK! 🩷

Every Wednesday in October, the Canopy Village crew is wearing pink to raise awareness, show support, and honor those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

It’s a small way to show that we’re stronger together, and no one in our community walks alone.

Cocktails for a Cause is almost here, and we still have a few volunteer spots to fill!

On October 22, 100 guests will step through the doors of our hidden speakeasy for an unforgettable evening benefiting the children and families of Canopy Village - and we need a great crew behind the scenes to help us pull it off.

When a child is in crisis and arrives at Canopy Village, nighttime can be more than simply going to sleep.

It means a warm bed waiting for them. A room where they can feel safe. A place where they are cared for, protected, and able to simply be a child.

From January through September, Canopy Village provided 1,926 bed nights for children in need.

That represents 1,926 times that children had a safe, warm place to sleep when they needed it most.

Behind every bed night is a child. A child who may be experiencing uncertainty, transition, or crisis—but who, for that night, knows they are safe.

1,926 bed nights. 1,926 moments of safety. One Village making sure children have a safe place to land.
