As a social worker, Zusana doesn't just evaluate patients for surgical access. She listens. She understands. She makes people feel safe enough to share their stories and help them 🙍‍♀️📋

Her work in rural Guatemala has shown her what vulnerability really looks like and why empathy isn't optional, it's essential.
with love, empathy, and a true calling to serve those who need it most. 🙏

Founder of The ALMA Team and the driving force behind every mission.

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist who has been serving communities in Guatemala since 2007 and now leads multiple missions each year alongside his wife Teresa.

In 2018, they officially founded The ALMA Team as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, meaning 100% of donations go directly to our mission.
