Little Spartans Cheer Camp!

When: Sunday, August 24 - Wednesday, August 27

Time: 3:30-5:00

Where: Coeburn Primary School Gymnasium

Ages: PreK - 7th grade

Cost: $25 per child

Purpose: The camp will be ran by the Eastside varsity cheerleaders. The participants will learn cheer motions, sidelines, crowd chants, a dance, and stunting!

*All participants are invited to attend our first home game on Thursday, August 28 against Central and cheer during the 3rd quarter with the varsity cheerleaders!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Coach Troy Freeman.

Troy was more than just a coach — he was a mentor, a leader, and a true cornerstone of the Coeburn and Eastside Youth Football family. For many years, he dedicated his time, energy, and heart to our program and to the kids in our community. Whether on the field or in the dugout with Coeburn Little League, Troy always showed up with passion, integrity, and a deep love for the game and the players he coached.

His impact reaches far beyond wins and losses. Troy helped shape young athletes into better teammates, better leaders, and better people. His legacy will live on in every player he coached and every life he touched.

We are grateful for the many years of service, guidance, and friendship Troy gave to our program. He will be deeply missed by all of us.

Please keep the Freeman family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Rest easy, Coach — your Eastside family will carry on your spirit with pride.

Eastside Youth Football is looking for local teams to play! Our ages are set up 6-8, 9-10, & 11-12. We are willing to play home/away.

We would like to get a schedule made out and a plan in case schools within our league do not have enough players to have teams.
