Join us for Bell County WIC’s in-person group classes every 2nd Wednesday! 🎉

Our Nutritionists and Breastfeeding Peer Counselors lead these fun, helpful classes—and we’ll reload your WIC card during the class. Bring your friends and family and come to one or all of them! Plus, you’ll go home with a freebie for attending an in-person class. 🎁

Class options:
🥘 Cooking Class – Learn how to make and sample a new recipe using WIC-approved ingredients.
🥦 Child Nutrition Top 10 Discussion – Learn healthy feeding strategies for your little one and ask questions in a relaxed group setting.
🤱 Infant Feeding & Behavior (Breastfeeding Class) – Whether it’s your first pregnancy or you’ve breastfed before, get your questions answered by a WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor. This class is also offered in Spanish in our Killeen and Temple clinics on Saturday, July 11th at 9:30am.
🚼 Pumping Basics – Learn about different types of breast pumps and when and how to use them.

⚠️ URGENT RECALL UPDATE FOR PARENTS

A recall involving Target's Up & Up baby wipes has now been upgraded by the FDA to a Class I Recall, which is the agency's most serious classification, meaning there is a reasonable probability that using the product could cause serious health consequences or even death.

The recalled wipes were found to be contaminated with Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli, bacteria that can cause dangerous infections. While healthy people may only experience skin irritation or localized infections, newborns, infants, young children, and anyone with a weakened immune system are at much greater risk of life-threatening illnesses such as sepsis or pneumonia.

The recall affects MILLIONS of packages of:

• Up & Up Fragrance Free Baby Wipes
• Up & Up Fresh Cucumber Scented Baby Wipes

Customers reported issues including product discoloration, skin irritation, eye irritation, and infections before testing confirmed the contamination. Those reports remain under investigation.

If you have these wipes:

• Stop using them immediately.
• Return them to any Target store for a full refund.

If you know someone with a baby or young child, consider sharing this with them. It's the kind of recall that parents need to know about as quickly as possible.

🚨 Urgent Need 🚨

We have a family in need of help. She is pregnant with 2 children relocating from a domestic violence situation.

Baby boy is 2, size 4t, shoes size 7-8, diapers 4t, and autistic so anything he could play and learn with.
Baby girl is 9 months, size 9 months clothes, size 3 shoe, and diaper size 4

She is a size 5 pants, medium shirt, and medium sports bra.
They have no clothes or beds. Family bought car seats to get them here.
