It’s become a weekend people put on the calendar, and we’re proud of that.

Friendly reminder to future consignors: start collecting video of your horses!

We ask for video when you submit your consignment so we can get a good feel for each horse. This does NOT have to be polished footage or anything you plan to use in your final sale video.

Everyday clips are perfect. Ranch work, arena rides, outside miles, whatever shows us your horse and what they’re like.

Start saving those videos now so you have plenty to choose from when it’s time to consign!

The Cody Horse Sale is more than just a place to buy a horse. It’s an experience that brings buyers, consignors and good horses together right in the heart of Cody, Wyoming.

Horses are carefully selected, consignors put in the work ahead of sale day, and buyers have the opportunity to see the horses showcased before they ever step into the sale ring.

There are plenty of places to buy a horse but there’s only one Cody Horse Sale’

Sale season has a way of sneaking up fast. Use the next couple of months to get your horse looking their best, gather plenty of good video, and schedule professional photos while the weather is still good.

Consignments will be here before we know it, and we’re excited to see what everyone brings to Cody!

It’s time to start thinking about professional photos for the Cody Horse Sale!

And yes, they are required.

You don’t want to be the person whose horse gets booted from the sale just because you didn’t plan ahead.

Get those photos taken before your horse is all haired up and October sneaks up on you!

Thinking about consigning to the Cody Horse Sale? Now is the time to start preparing your application.

Videos need to be ready to send to T.J. by October, and professional photos are required for all consignments.

Good photos and videos take some planning, so don’t wait until October to start putting everything together.

We’re looking forward to 2027!

And that’s a wrap! Thank you to the amazing families who purchased my horses. As a horse trainer, one of my biggest goals is to create horses that can truly be enjoyed by the whole family. Knowing these horses are headed to homes where little kids can love on them, grow up with them, and ride them for years to come is what I would call a success.

Two horses are staying close to home and heading to new homes here in Montana and one is Tennessee bound.

Thank you to everyone who helped along the way, especially my family. None of this would be possible without your support.

And thank you to the team at the Cody Horse Sale for putting on such a great event. We are grateful to have been a part of it!
