Our family just picked up our share from Farm Table West. It was a great value at $25 for all organic produce. Some of the produce was locally sourced. This might be just what we need to fill void that BB left in our lives.

The Cody Cattle Company site was combined with the Provisions of Grace site for today. Please come out to Provisions of Grace Foodbank to volunteer. It is right next to Grace Baptist Church at the bottom of the Southfork hill. Volunteer time is 1:45 pm and pickup is at 2:45 pm.

The Cattle Company Site will be OUTSIDE today BEHIND the Cattle Company in the big parking lot. Dress warmly! There is an auction at the Cattle Company so parking/traffic might be an issue.

Here is some info on the persimmons.

There are two varieties of persimmons. Fuyu persimmons are short, squat, and pumpkin shaped. Eat them like an apple, peeled and sliced. Hachiya persimmons are acorned shaped and must be completely soft and ripe before you can eat them.
