Our mission is to empower children, young adults and their families to adjust to life after the loss of a loved one within a supportive community of their peers and to promote healthful grief, healing and growth. The Children’s Bereavement Center (CBC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (FL Registration ) and contributions are tax-deductible under IRS
regulations. A COPY OF THE OFFICIAL REGISTRATION AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE DIVISION OF CONSUMER SERVICES BY

Grief support is returning for Miami’s Haitian community. 💙

Beginning October 1, CBC’s FREE Haitian Creole Lift from Loss grief support groups will meet online on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM.

These groups are open to adults 18+ who have experienced the loss of a loved one, as well as adults supporting a grieving child. Groups are led by mental health professionals and provide a supportive space for connection, remembrance, and healing.
