Some heroes are only 9 years old. đź’™ Meet Cayden, a young entrepreneur with an even bigger heart. After hosting a hydration stand, he decided to donate 10% of his earnings to Food For The Poor to help families in need. With the support of his community, he sold out of everything.

His compassion and generous spirit remind us that anyone can make a difference, no matter their age. Thank you, Cayden, for inspiring us all. ✨

Apadrina hoy: https://ow.ly/ujMy50ZCJoo

Take a moment to think about the person who believed in you when you needed it most.đź’™ Maybe it was a parent, a teacher, a grandparent, or another caring adult who encouraged you to keep going and dream bigger.
Everyone deserves that kind of support.✨ By sponsoring a child, you can be the person who reminds them they matter, that they're capable of great things, and that they are never alone: https://ow.ly/ZGgK50ZCJqK

Food For The Poor continues working alongside trusted partners to help families affected by the 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck western Colombia in the Chocó region on Aug. 10.🇨🇴 Our response team recently visited a humanitarian aid storage and logistics hub in Pereira, then traveled to the La Lorena and San Nicolás neighborhoods, where food and hygiene kits were distributed to affected families.

The team also visited a shelter at Coliseo Mayor Pereira to assess conditions and learn more about local government response and coordination efforts. Later, they toured one of downtown Pereira’s hardest-hit areas to witness the earthquake’s impact firsthand and better understand the needs of affected communities.

Upcoming efforts include joining Minuto de Dios and CADENA International in Roldanillo to install water filters before heading to Cartago to distribute food kits to families in need.

Together, we are bringing hope and relief to communities on the road to recovery.❤️https://ow.ly/gctC50ZC64p
