Celebrating Leoni, one of our incredible Next Steps young adults 🎓

At 26, Leoni has officially graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, a milestone that reflects years of hard work, perseverance, and determination. We are so proud to see him step into this next chapter with such purpose and vision.

“I lived at SOS from the ages of 8–13 with my three brothers, Roberto, Michael, and Devan. SOS gave us the opportunity to finally stay together after being separated in foster homes, and it provided us with a stable environment where we could truly be kids, grow, and feel supported.

As I graduate college, my goals are to secure a full-time career in mechanical engineering, become financially stable, and build generational wealth for my family. Most importantly, I hope to one day give back to the same community that helped shape and support me throughout my childhood.”

Last week, we gathered to celebrate an incredible milestone for the young people in the Village and our Next Steps Program. 🎓✨

At our Graduation Celebration Dinner, we honored our high school seniors, college graduates, and technical program graduates for their hard work, determination, and accomplishments.

As they turn the page to a new chapter, we couldn't be more proud of all they have accomplished and excited for all that lies ahead. Whether continuing their education, beginning a new career, or pursuing their dreams, we know they have bright futures ahead.

Last Friday, we wrapped up the school year with our End of Year Pizza & Ice Cream Social! 🍕🍦☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special for our children and families.

Thank you to Jennipher and KIND Love Project, along with Amici's, for donating pizza and salad. Thank you to Rachel and Jake Fieman for providing ice cream and outdoor play activities, and to DHL, Christina from Boca West Children's Foundation, and Wings to Grow Together for the wonderful gifts for our kids.

We are also grateful for our amazing volunteers—Katie Clarke, Maggie Reiss, Adrienne Auster, Christina Irving, Brian Degeer, Jackie Dervial and Jennipher Perez—who helped bring the day to life.

And a special thank you to our incredible partners at Deco Event Designs for transforming the community center into a Summer Splash celebration!
