LOOKING FOR 8 FRIENDS
That will cook or buy a dinner (examples ziti or lasagna, salad pack, dessert) for SOS Children’s Village For March 21❤️🙏🏽
I would like to unite with you to bring each foster home a dinner. Each home on average 6-7 people.
Please let me know if you can help💜🥰
I just need the meals delivered to VICE between 12 and 1 on the 21st🙏🏽 or Delivery Dudes or Publix Gift Card to volunteer coordinator [email protected]❤️

Volunteers needed at SOS Children’s Village Coconut Creek Sunday Jan. 9🙏🏽 1 pm

Items to be completed:
Take down all lights and put in the bins

Take down all decoration (saving only objects that were not made and are meant to be reused) and putting in the bins

Bring all extension cords to the bins

All self-made décor or broken/out lights are to be thrown out

All sponsorship signs are to be brought to the porch of 3670

*if any volunteers have spare ladders that would be helpful.



Volunteers to meet Heath at the cul de sac for further instruction.

THANK YOU to everyone who helped provide SOS Children’s Village with bounce houses and snacks today since school was out❤️🙏🏽 It’s easy to live in our own bubble with our own families but life is about serving, loving and giving to others so it is with deep gratitude I thank those who gather with us to help underserved local kids during a holiday that must be hard without their parents ❤️❤️

Thank you so much to all of the wonderful families
Kristine, Justine, Lindsay, Nicholle, Fernando, Marcela that contributed to provide Thanksgiving Dinner to SOS Foster Kids and a special thanks to CF Vice members, R and B General Contractors, Clipper Cafe for underwriting all of the food for the kids, house parents and alumni foster kid’s🙏🏽Teamwork truly makes the dream work!

❤️ my amazing therapist, dear friend and incredible heart of gold drove 45 minutes to come serve with us. Thank you thank you thank you
❤️And to the UNITED WE SERVE TEAM thank you for carving out time to serve the foster kids village!! Many of you drove from Miami and East FLL so thank you!!!!
📆 Next Up:Wednesday the 20th- 1:30pm- 4:00pm- Community Center Prep: We need to box up books from our library and moving tables and chairs. Looking for 5-8 Volunteers. (can be high school students)
Thursday the 21st 3:00-6:00pm- Auction Set Up- Moving items to the community center. Setting up tables. Looking for 8-10 Volunteers. (can be high school students
Friday the 22nd- 9:00am-12:00pm- Setting up tables under main tent and along the main street of the village.
Saturday the 23rd- 9:45pm-12:00am- Helping take down and clean up from Gala- stacking all tables and chairs under the main tent, moving trash, cleaning up the community center.

❤️Here are the things we are going to help with at SOS Foster Village this Sunday 4-6 pm:)
We need a power washer if anyone knows someone who will help us!

Laying mulch around the main big trees along the road of the village- they will have lighting on them, so we want to spruce it up.


Gardening a planter box at the main entrance of the home we will be doing a tour of.


Cleaning and wiping the inside and outside windows and doors for the community center.


Washing windows of the tour home and general front of the house maintenance.


Power Washing the main sidewalk along the community center (if anyone has a machine that will be ideal as our facility director won’t be there that day to help with our machines-but if they know how to work it they can use ours)


Fixing the bricks at the main admin building along the garden.


General front of the homes/gardening clean up(pulling the weeds outs, palms that have fallen etc.)


Moving items out of the community center in preparation for turning the room into the auction space.

PARKING FOR FAMILY FIELD DAY!
The foster kids are sitting outside waiting for us to bring a day of FUN after they have suffered abuse, neglect and isolation SO THANK YOU for helping us give them access to positive activities❤️🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
AND A HUGE thank you to El Balcon De Las America’s for bringing the SOS kids their favorite food!!! Let’s all order dinner from El Balcon tonight and !

About Glamour For Good

2020 Marks our 3rd year hosting this amazing charity night “aka the BEST party for parents that want to do good!” Complete with a FUNdraising casino, all you can drink, dinner, DJ and EVERYTHING FUN!!!! Founder Michelle Brown is a Coral Springs resident who was orphaned as a child, left unclaimed and unwanted. “I vowed to dedicate my life to helping kids like me - to give them opportunities, to ensure they knew someone cared and that they could have access to positive activities in life.”

This is our third annual Glamour For Good benefiting 501c3 SOS Children’s Coconut Creek Village Foster Kids at Parkland Golf & Country Club. We wanted to create a totally UNIQUE, FUN FILLED, philanthropic event for community members ages 25 to 50 to do good by giving back to kids right in our community. 100% of event proceeds go to tutoring, trauma therapy, positive extra curricular activities and sports opportunities.

Below you will find an event overview, along with a link to a SOS Foster Child alumni, Calvin, now in the NFL, thanks to a donor giving him the chance to try football.
