🦸🏽‍♀️🦸🏾‍♂️ Calling all superheroes—and community helpers! 🦸🏿‍♂️🦸🏻‍♀️

Join Sisters Inspiring Sisters Inc. for our Comic-Con Trunk or Treat Party on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM at VFW Post 8116!

We’re seeking volunteers to decorate trunks and hand out candy. Unable to volunteer? Candy and other donations are also welcome and greatly appreciated. Every contribution helps us create a fun and memorable event for our community!

Dress as your favorite superhero and bring the whole family for a free afternoon filled with candy, costumes, decorated trunks, music, games, and more. All ages are welcome!

• Who can enter: High school students in grades 9 through 12 (including homeschoolers).

• The task: Record an original 3-to-5 minute audio essay and submit it with a typed essay and entry form.

• The 2026–2027 theme: “What a Veteran Taught Me About America.”
