Amazing day with amazing people at our February meetup yesterday! We had gardening, games, crafts, cookie decorating, and more but the kayaking and paddle boarding was definitely the favorite activity of the day…and it was a PERFECT day for it ❤️ So incredibly thankful for our amazing volunteers who bring their gifts and hearts to share with our community. God is so good 🙏🏼

Does anyone know a guy (or gal) in the business of printing who would be interested in making a (tax-deductible 😏) charitable donation of their services to ChIPs this year? We’d really like to print up some flyers/brochures/marketing material to distribute in the community to help spread the word but had NO idea how expensive this would be 😳 Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated 🙏🏼

I am a missionary at the Brevard County Jail. I counsel with men and women on the dirt floor basement of their soul. Many are here because of addictions. Some for poverty- so many are here because they are homeless- and sleeping in the wrong place, and get trespassed. And some are like the thief on the cross next to Jesus- who had done wrong- but Jesus still said he would be in Paradise. We have to raise our own funds to be here. We have 2 big fund raisers each year- a Banquet in the Spring and a Golf Event in the Fall. Our Golf Event is Monday. In the past 2 months I have been recovering from foot surgery, had Covid, had a brush with one hurricane and 2 weeks later a direct hit by Milton. While I still had no power I left for Washington D.C. with 3 kids from my church and met with 2 others in D.C. for a major church event at the National Cathedral. I say all that to say that I have not done all that I needed to do to raise funds for the ministry. I should have mailed out letters- but it didn't happen. We are currently $19,000 in the hole. The funds go to salaries for me and for my co chaplain, Darin Shoch. We are not paid by the sheriff or the county- although we minister to deputies as well as inmates.
