Bionic Tigers Team 1592

FIRST Robotics Team 1592, the Bionic Tigers. Cocoa High School WHO ARE WE? We are FIRST robotics Team 1592 THE BIONIC TIGERS based in Cocoa, Florida.

Founded in 2005, our team has been building one robot each year and has won 6 regionals and a host of other awards, including "Industrial Safety" and the "Entrepreneurship" awards. For the last few years we have had a partnership with Team 801 HORSEPOWER in which we share most of our resources and build our bots along side each other.

WHAT DO WE DO? Early January, every year, FIRST presents a ne

w game which is shown to us during "Kickoff". Kickoff is the very first time we hear anything about that year's game and from that day we have six weeks to design, build, and program a robot, as well as writing several essays for award submission. During the off-season we greatly increase our involvement in fundraising and outreach. MISSION AND GOALS
The mission of the Bionic Tigers shall be to promote interest in and knowledge of science and technology throughout Cocoa High School, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, and the community; and to develop leadership, business, teamwork, communication and other life skills. We aim to further strengthen our sense of team work, to continue practicing our gracious professionalism, and to inspire others within our community to get involved in science and technology programs.

We had so much fun at the Orlando Regional this past weekend. The Bionic Tigers made it to playoffs where we were selected by Shark Attack 744 alongside Stealth Tigers 3164 on the 8th seed alliance. We advanced before getting eliminated in the 2nd round !
