Celebrating Excellence: Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce Named 2026 USBC Chamber of the Year!

[Brevard County, FL] The Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce has been named the 2026 USBC Chamber of the Year during the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. National Conference & School of Chamber Management!

This prestigious recognition celebrates the Chamber’s outstanding leadership, commitment to empowering Black-owned businesses, and dedication to advancing economic opportunity. The honor recognizes its continued impact in strengthening communities and championing Black business excellence.

“We are deeply honored and grateful to Ron Busby Sr., President and CEO, and the Board of Directors of the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. for bestowing this recognition upon our Chamber,” said Victoria Jones, President and CEO of the Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce, Inc. “It is truly amazing to see Florida’s Space Coast recognized on a national stage. We look forward to continuing to represent our region and working alongside the U.S. Black Chambers in Washington, D.C. to advance policies and create opportunities that help Black-owned businesses grow and thrive.”

🇺🇸 A morning of inspiration, insight, and partnership!

The Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce thanks Accelerate Brevard for the opportunity to serve as a community partner alongside our friends at the Space Coast Chamber of Commerce for yesterday’s State of the Military event at the Space Coast Convention Center.

It was an inspiring morning learning about the future of our military and the diverse operations happening right here on Florida’s Space Coast. The conversations highlighted the strong connection between our military, local businesses, and the communities we serve.

Kudos to Accelerate Brevard and its Military Affairs Council for bringing our community together for such an informative and meaningful event. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to future opportunities to work together!

Where else does Christmas Eve mean thousands of people gathering on the beach to watch hundreds of Santas catch waves?

What began as a small family outing in Cocoa Beach in 2009 has grown into Surfing Santas, a beloved Space Coast tradition that brings hundreds of costumed surfers and thousands of spectators together each year.

It’s fun, a little unexpected and distinctly ours. Traditions like this are part of what gives the Space Coast its character, creating the kind of community people don’t just live and work in, but genuinely enjoy being part of.

The Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce was honored to participate in yesterday’s Faith & Community Champions celebration at Faith Temple Christian Center —a meaningful gathering recognizing service, strengthening partnerships, and celebrating those making a difference in our community.

A special thank you to Pastor Shaun Ferguson, Mayor-elect of the City of Rockledge, for his hospitality and generous donation to the Space Coast Black Chamber Foundation. Your support helps us build opportunity and strengthen the community we serve.

Celebrating history, community, and a new chapter!

The Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce was proud to join our members from the Community Revitalization Alliance (CReA) in Palm Bay for the grand reopening and ribbon cutting of the Evans Center! We brought out our signature black scissors to celebrate this special milestone.

The Evans Center carries a meaningful legacy. In 1965, Roosevelt “Ross” Evans opened Evans Supermarket in Palm Bay, serving residents of northeast Palm Bay and south Melbourne. His store provided groceries, local jobs, and a welcoming place for neighbors to gather—becoming a cornerstone of the community.

Today, we celebrate that legacy and the people working to carry it forward. Congratulations to CReA and everyone who helped bring this new chapter to life!

From the Space Coast to Capitol Hill!

The Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce was proud to participate in 2026 USBC Hill Day on October 8, 2026, hosted on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., by the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc.

Representing our Space Coast business community were Victoria Jones, President & CEO; Ayuna Fogle, Chamber Government Relations Intern; and John Maryland, owner of John Maryland Enterprises located in Cape Canaveral, Florida, and a valued Chamber member.

Their participation reflects the importance of bringing local business voices into national conversations about economic opportunity, business growth, and access to resources.

Thank you, Victoria, Ayuna, and John, for being advocates for businesses here on the Space Coast! We also thank the U.S. Black Chambers for bringing business leaders together to connect with policymakers and champion Black entrepreneurship.
