Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club is a proud member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. The GFWC is one of the largest and oldest women’s service organizations. We were federated September 27, 1965 and throughout the club’s history, it has contributed not only to the Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral areas, but to all citizens of Brevard County through its support of Education, Conservation, the Arts, Civic Engagement, Health and Wellness and Community Outreach.

2026 Summer Closet Cleanup!
The summer started with organizing the club's storage closet in preparation for the next year. Members of the Cocoa Beach Woman's Club identified items to be donated and organized decor, special events items, regular meeting needs, history and memorabilia. This will help hostesses looking for seasonal decor each month for meetings, and our special events committees can find items they might want to use. Thanks to the ladies for their hard work!

The GFWC South Brevard Junior Woman's Club is hosting a Virtual 5K Run/Walk throughout the month of June. For just $25, participants can complete a 5K anytime between June 1 and June 30. Proceeds will benefit Feeding America, and the area with the most participants will have the donation directed to their local Feeding America partner to help provide food assistance in their community.

Summer is here, and so is one of the most important actions we can take to help protect the Indian River Lagoon and our local waterways.

The Summer Fertilizer Ban is now in effect
from June 1 through September 30.

During Florida's rainy season, fertilizers applied to lawns can be washed into storm drains, canals, ponds, rivers, and ultimately the Indian River Lagoon. Excess nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus fuel harmful algal blooms, reduce water clarity, decrease oxygen levels, and negatively impact fish, manatees, dolphins, seagrasses, and other wildlife that depend on healthy waterways.

What an incredible night at the Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club Bingo & BBQ Fundraiser on Thursday, April 23rd! 🎉🎱🔥

The evening was a roaring success from start to finish, filled with laughter, great company, exciting games, and amazing community spirit. The BBQ was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by everyone — a huge hit all around! 🍗🌽🥗

A very special thank you to our fantastic bingo caller, Clare Jones, who kept the energy high and the games running smoothly all evening long. Her enthusiasm made the night even more fun! 💛

We are also so grateful to all of the wonderful volunteers and helpers who worked throughout the evening selling tickets, collecting money, serving guests, and making sure everything ran seamlessly. Events like this are only possible because of your hard work and dedication.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, supported the fundraiser, and helped us raise an incredible amount of money for charity and the CBWC Foundation. Your generosity and support mean so much to our community.

We appreciate each and every one of you and can’t wait to do it again next year! 🎊👏

What a wonderful way to celebrate the close of another successful year for the Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club!

At our May 7, 2026 Year-End Luncheon and Installation of Officers, we reflected on an incredible 2025-2026 club year filled with service, friendship, leadership, and community impact. We are so proud of all that our members accomplished together and look forward to returning in September for another exciting year ahead.

The GFWC Florida 130th Annual Convention in Orlando was an inspiring and successful event, bringing together over 560 members to celebrate service, leadership, and sisterhood. Attendees enjoyed meaningful programs, recognized outstanding clubs and volunteers, supported impactful fundraising efforts, and welcomed a new administration focused on continuing the Federation’s mission of community service.

The Cocoa Beach Woman’s Club was proudly represented by Marge Jones (President), Marilyn Bollo, Julia George, Gayle Allenback, Denise Vevoyda, Linda Hagen and Bernadette Hansen.
