The Falls Road Community Association, Inc. was formed in 1947 by farsighted community leaders who expected growth on Chestnut Ridge in Baltimore County and desired to bring the view of the residents into the planning process. Throughout the rapid growth of the county in recent years, FRCA has been the voice of the residents in legislative and land use issues, and in discussions about what should o

r should not happen whenever these matters impact our community. Today the FRCA represents households in a large crescent bounded on the east by Interstate 83, on the south by Interstate 695, on the west by Park Heights and Worthington Avenues, and on the north by Butler and Belfast Roads. The current threats to our environment are different from those of the 1950′s, but the basic driving force remains the same: Development – a profit driven activity which often has negative implications on our community.
