Plans are underway for the most rewarding event of the year- the 2nd annual Greater Frederick’s Finest Celebration to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This year’s event will be held in June at the Delaplaine Center for the Arts
The Greater Frederick’s Finest Celebration is an honoree based campaign tailore

d to an audience of up-and-coming young business professionals, generally 25-40 years of age, who are socially active community members. Each honoree commits to a fundraising goal for the privilege of being recognized as a rising star, and a “mover and shaker” in the community. Once the honorees are secured, a kick off is held where they receive a fundraising packet and are assigned to a CF Ambassador, as well as a fundraising mentor. We will hold monthly networking sessions for honorees and mentors and our honorees will be highlighted in various media outlets including Key 103, WHAG and Frederick Gorilla Magazine. Individuals are then recognized and celebrated at the Greater Frederick’s Finest Celebration for their work in the community and often for their successful business careers. The event will include a live and silent auction, a Bid for a Cure, cocktail reception, dinner, and a tribute to the honorees. Following presentations of the Frederick’s Finest Honorees, guests will have the opportunity to mingle, while dancing the night away to the live music.

Another Finest Introduction!!! Susan Buckley is a 2012 Greater Frederick's Finest Honoree!! You have all seen Susans work but, may not realize it. She is a Director and Associate Producer at Nexstar Broadcasting Group/ WHAG!! When you watch the morning news, Susan is the one that makes it all Happen!! A FINEST OF GREATER FREDERICK

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is pleased to announce it is accepting nominations for the
2ND Annual Greater Frederick’s Finest Event. The selected honorees will be recognized for their community involvement and professional development through media coverage at the Greater Frederick’s Finest Event November 15 at 6pm at the Deleplaine Center for the Arts.

Do you know a behind the scenes volunteer, community leader, professional executive, or entrepreneur that you would like to nominate? Please consider someone you know who is or is poised to become a leader in their field. These men and women will be given the opportunity to highlight their leadership skills and achievements in the regional business community while raising funds for a CF cure.

The Finest candidates will be selected and announced over the weeks leading up to The Launch and Photo Shoot in September. The chosen honorees will be invited to participate in several networking events and will be honored for their achievements at Greater Frederick’s Finest Celebration November 15 at the Deleplaine Center for the Arts. This finale will feature exceptional food, great fun, a fabulous live and silent auction. All of this will take place while celebrating the fundraising successes of the Greater Frederick’s Finest honorees. All donations and proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and in turn help to support the treatment and research to find a cure for CF.
