Thanks to our early 2026 CARE Diamond Partners for their generous support. These local businesses allow us to do the things we do to make Cochranton a better place.

We've recently worked with the Borough to complete the new Pagen Building ADA restrooms at Lions Park. We are currently starting a project to repair some segments of the walking trail, and extend the trail behind the Fitness Center and connect to the existing trails on the west side of North Franklin Street, along with some additional lighting. And there are more plans in the works!

That's in addition to the all the events we put on free of charge in Cochranton. This year we are presenting 12 Music In The Park Concerts, four CARE Quarterly Speaker Series historical talks, a second annual Medicare Health Fair, and the annual Light Up Night.

Coming up on Wednesday, May 27th, we have our first outdoor Music In The Park event featuring Touch of Grey outside in Lions Park from 6:00-8:00pm. These concerts have been a great way to enjoy our beautiful park, meet friends and neighbors, enjoy some great music, and grab some delicious food.

Touch Of Grey includes CHS teacher Evan Andrae. Come on out and show this talented local musician some support.

Smoky Martins BBQ and Sweet Werx will be there with their always tasty food offerings!

Hope to see you there!

Thank you to our 2026 CARE partners who help us to provide the events we do free of charge. Music In The Park, the CARE Quarterly Speaker Series, this year's Flag Day event, and Light Up Night, and the capital improvements we make in the borough, are all possible because of generous support from the community.

Thanks to all that came out this morning to our CARE Quarterly Speaker Series at The Motzing Center. For those that couldn’t come, it’s up on our YouTube page along with all the past presentations. We are very happy to be able to preserve all these fascinating historical talks.

Next up will be a special outdoor event on May 30th, as Mark takes us on a special tour of the Cochranron Cemetary. He promises some very special stories and surprises.

Here’s a link to today’s talk.
