Following our recent post soliciting community feedback regarding the reinstatement of fireworks at the Cochranton Community Fair, we have observed considerable support for their return. Implementing this initiative poses significant challenges given our current membership's capabilities.

We kindly request that individuals who have expressed opinions on this matter attend our upcoming meeting on September 2, 2026, to offer their assistance in undertaking this endeavor. There is no "I" in TEAM, and it will take a team to continue this fair.

The community is invited to provide feedback on a matter pertaining to the Cochranton Community Fair. Over the past two years, fireworks have been excluded from the fair due to various concerns, including animal welfare. Currently, the animals are released late on Saturday evening.

If fireworks were to be reinstated, it would necessitate the animals' departure by Saturday afternoon. We pose the following question to the community: Would you prefer the reinstatement of fireworks or the animals remaining at the fair until its conclusion? Let us know down in the comments.

We are pleased to announce a collaborative effort with The Whiskey Bend Farm to host an end-of-year Tack Swap on October 3, 2026, with proceeds benefiting the Cochranton Community Horse Show and its grounds.
