💜⭐ Staff Spotlight Saturday ⭐💛

This week, we are proud to recognize Ms. Alicia Jenkins, our amazing Head Custodian at BCPS! Ms. Alicia works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming for our students and staff each day. She truly goes above and beyond for our school family. 💜💛

Tomorrow’s the dance, we are excited!

Just a couple reminders:
if you paid with Venmo, please have your receipt pulled up when you get to the dance in case of an issue so that the lines move smoothly. If you have paid (any form of payment) and not filled out the admission online form, please do so that we can get you on the list.
For those donating snacks please remember to drop off tomorrow morning between 10 AM and 12 PM at the at Bleckley Primary lunchroom. We are still in need of snacks for the dance so if you would like to donate please message or call me, Rebecca Jones, at 4785958726 to let us know what you can bring. List of snacks are:
individually wrapped bags of chips, mini cupcakes, cookies, snack cakes, and cases of waters.
 We really appreciate all the help to make this another successful dance! 😊

The father daughter dance is next Saturday. Please make sure to fill out the online admission form by following link below and get your tickets paid for asap!

Also, we still need many snack donations. The items we need are:
individual wrapped bags of chips
mini cupcakes
cookies
or any other bakery item
bottled waters.

If you are willing to donate, please let me know what you plan to bring. I will be at Bleckley Primary lunchroom Saturday from 10amh-12pm for food donation drop offs. We greatly thank you for all donations! Again, this allows us to cover more learning enhancements for students that would otherwise not be possible.

In our initial post about this year’s Father–Daughter Dance, we mentioned that the event would be “K-pop inspired.” Since then, we’ve received feedback from some families expressing concerns about that direction. Thank you to those who reached out — we appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us.

While the original flyer will remain the same, we want to clarify that there will be no K-pop-themed décor at the event. Our goal has always been to create a fun, welcoming evening where girls and their special guests can spend time together with friends, music, and dancing.

We are happy to pivot our decorating plans, and we’re now planning a glowin’ and disco theme that we think will make for a memorable night for everyone.

We hope all families will feel comfortable joining us — this dance is an important fundraiser for our schools, and we would love to see a great turnout. We’re looking forward to a glowing, joyful evening together!
