Creating Healthy Schools and Communities DOS Creating Healthy Schools and Communities is a 5 year grant from NYS Dept of Health to work with school districts and their associated communities.

Creating Healthy Schools and Communities will work with 5 school districts in Delaware, Otsego and Schoharie County over the next 5 years with the possibility of adding 1 or 2 more districts. SUNY Cobleskill will partner with Bassett to complete the work in these schools and communities. The overall goal is to reduce the risk of obesity by increasing access to healthy foods and increasing activity
