Today was day 4 of our crews clearing roads and delivering supplies. At 7am we sent representatives to a briefing with Hickman EMA and other push crews and then we began clearing more roads in the Coble area. We had about 18 volunteers on cut crews, running skid steers, delivering supplies, fixing generators, and doing welfare checks. In the middle of all that we had a rollover wreck on the interstate from a vehicle sliding on ice and crews dropped what they were doing to respond and extricate those individuals.
Tomorrow crews are lined up and will be back out at it again. Please keep them in your prayers for safety along with all the other emergency agencies, linemen, road crews, and volunteers as they are out working.
