HD 37 is the only race in Cobb County where out-of-state gambling PACs decided to buy an ad. That alone should tell you something.

Graham Bowers for State House District 37 is challenging a four-term incumbent, Representative Mary Frances Williams, who takes corporate PAC money, has one of the worst attendance records in the legislature, and just received $82k worth of help from a Texas-based gambling PAC.

Graham takes no corporate PAC money; he’s running on Medicaid expansion, workers’ rights, and actually showing up.

This is exactly the kind of race progressives should be paying attention to.

Rep. Mary Frances Williams took money from Pfizer, PhRMA, Takeda, and Amgen — then told Indivisible Cobb last week she doesn’t take corporate PAC money. 💊

We’re not talking about gray areas. These are four of the biggest pharmaceutical companies and lobbying arms on earth. It’s in the public record.

And that’s just big pharma money. There’s also AT&T, Centene Corporation, Gas South, and 40+ more PACs going back to 2018.

Last week she wrote: “I do not believe I have received any contributions from corporate PACs.” The records say otherwise.

HD-37 deserves a rep who tells the truth. takes zero corporate PAC money — not “I don’t believe so.” Zero.

Two DINOs. Two betrayals. One democratic primary to fix both. 🗳️

In Sandy Springs, Esther Panitch endorsed a former Republican Party chair for mayor and called it her “deepest values.” was the Democrat in the race.

In Marietta, said absolutely nothing while Sam Foster came within 89 votes of becoming Marietta’s first Black mayor. Cobb’s chairwoman endorsed him. The sheriff endorsed him. Our own state rep? Silent.

Now is running to replace MFW in HD-37 — and rather than doing her job at the legislature she wasted of time trying to kick him off the ballot. A judge said no.

In HD-51, is running to replace Esther — a true progressive who will actually show up and fight.
No Republican is on either ballot. The Democratic primary is the election.

State House Rep Mary Frances Williams had two chances to go on record against Republican surveillance bills — one literally named after China. She didn’t vote on either one. 🧾

It doesn’t matter how MFW says she would have voted. What matters is that she keeps skipping when her district needs her to show up.

And if you’re a moderate Democrat in the comments arguing right now — thank you. Your engagement is helping the algorithm. But defending a politician instead of holding her accountable? Williams voted YES on a hate bill — then was nowhere to be found for the final vote. 🧾

Progressive groups warned HB150would fuel anti-Asian racism — the same climate that preceded the 2021 Atlanta spa shootings. It targets students, researchers, and faculty at Georgia universities by treating anyone connected to a “foreign entity of concern” as a suspect.

True progressive Gabriel Sanchez voted NO both times.

Mary Frances Williams voted YES on the original — then was absent for the final Agree/Disagree vote. Her excuse? She was tired.

Rep. Mary Frances Williams () skipped a Governmental Affairs committee meeting, told a constituent she was “super tired,” then weeks later claimed she had a scheduling conflict — with a meeting that started 3.5 hours later. The official legislative schedule proves it never happened.

After months of attempting to gain access to an account they did not own, a separate page was created: .

The split followed disagreements over inclusion and leadership structure, including a woman of color being listed in leadership but not included in leadership meetings or decision-making.

Instead of accountability, the story shifted.
