Did you know that the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness was designated as Wilderness by the United States Congress in 1980? It is the largest contiguous Wilderness area in the lower 48 encompassing over 2 million acres of land. The land has a rich history from the Tuka-Deka Sheep Eaters to homesteaders and mining claims.

We deeply cherish our time out in the Frank and relish in giving back to the rugged and beautiful landscapes. We honor those who came before us in stewarding these and all lands and hope to continue taking care of them for the generations to come.

The Wood River Trails Coalition and the Pulaski User’s Group are teaming up on Saturday, June 3, to celebrate National Trails Day with a “work party” on the Croy Canyon

Please join us for National Trails Day (NTD) June 3rd!

designated the first Saturday in June as a day of public events aimed at advocacy and trail service. and are teaming up for "a day of service for hometown trails and the people who love them." Join us out Croy Canyon from 9am-12pm and give back to some of our beloved trails. Come prepared to learn (instruction will be bilingual) about trail maintenance and have your hands in the dirt! Our work party will be followed with a community gathering at the Hop Porter Park pavilions from 12pm-3pm. There will be free food sponsored by the Community Table as well as activities and entertainment. The entire day is free and family friendly!
