Joe Don Looney is in a bad situation and needs your help. He is stuck in a broker pen in Ohio. We are already receiving a horse from the same pen to quarantine and assist, and we would like Joe Don Looney to be able to join him.
A winner of nearly 300,000, this recently retired Thoroughbred does not deserve this — he deserves a soft landing, nice straw to lie on, and good nutrition. It is 1,600 to bail him, with other associated costs such as transport, care, and medical.

Links to help donate are in the comments. Can you help Joe Don Looney get to safety? He has until 10/24. Time is running out 😢

🚨 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣 𝗨𝗦 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗪 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 🚨

We urgently need your help locating two Thoroughbred mares adopted through Mareworthy Charities, An Indiana Night (Indy) and Willowamina (Willow), whose whereabouts are currently unknown following the equine welfare investigation in Boyd County, Kentucky.

Both mares were last personally seen by Mareworthy on October 15, 2026. We had been working to bring them back into our care, but before we could complete their return, we learned they were no longer among the horses located at the property. Many of you have asked us to share photographs to help identify the mares. These are the most recent photographs available to us, although their appearances may have changed since they were taken.

We also want to be clear that 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘆'𝘀 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵. We share the concerns about what is visible in that image. We are providing it because it is among the most recent photographs we have to help identify her, not as an endorsement of those conditions.

Please do not confront anyone, enter private property, or attempt to retrieve either horse. We are seeking accurate information that can be shared with the appropriate authorities as we pursue their return through the proper legal channels.
