Our Story

On January 12, 2010 Haiti suffered a severe earthquake. By June of 2010 Breathe Partners (then CPR-3) arrived with its very first teams. By June of 2012 we had purchased land and began construction of the Breathe Center Haiti (then called the ‘Sant Mouvman’).

Breathe Partners values long standing missiological best practices. Breathe Partners established a conduit for generosity to come along side of church multiplication in Haiti. In 2014 Breathe Partners encouraged the start-up of a Haitian organization, fully run by a Haitian Board. The creation of ORLA (Organization Respire Lavi Ayiti) was realized. In January of 2017, the full mantle of leadership was given to ORLA under the good leadership of Charles Joseph Moise.

Together, Breathe Partners and ORLA have toddled, walked, jogged, stalemated. We learn and grow together how to best come along side of each other as we watch God establish healthy churches in Haiti.

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Our mission in Haiti is focused on relational disciple making as we reach the young, the lost and the poor. We strive to connect the Church to plant and serve the Haitian Church cross culturally.

In February of 2017, we knew God was calling us into urban spaces. We moved into and began learning Philadelphia.

The world’s urban population has reached up to 52% and is projected to be up to 75% within 35 years. 5.5 million people around the globe are moving into cities every month. That is a brand-new Philadelphia every single month.

The world is demanding the church to have a strong urban and developing-world presence. Breathe Partners is committed to set the church up to win.

We set the church up to win by developing young leaders through CompassionCorp while serving social injustices through the church.

CompassionCorp is the ‘leadership development’ school of education for Breathe Partners designed to provide practical training, foundational instruction targeting front-line experience and focused mentoring. The training ground is Haiti and Philadelphia. CompassionCorp offers BS in Ministry and MA in Organizational Leadership.

The goal of CompassionCorp is to equip and unleash the now and next generation of global and urban leaders to holistically care for people for Kingdom gain. The course work is designed to prepare missionaries locally and globally. This extremely affordable alternative to traditional education is cutting edge, innovative and is leading the way in the direction of future education.
