LCBC Raises $1400 for Shamokin Area Education Foundation

The Lives Changed by Christ (LCBC) Church of Coal Township recently raised $1400 for the Shamokin Area Education Foundation through their recent “Be Rich” in good deeds initiative. The monies raised will specifically go toward the Signal, Shamokin Area’s school newspaper, which is an entirely student-run publication. Taking part in the check presentation are pictured from L to R: Eric Brightbill (LCBC Church), Crystal Hoover (LCBC Church Lead), and Chris Venna (SASD Superintendent and SAEF Board member). LCBC Coal Township is one of 14 LCBC locations throughout Pennsylvania with all locations totaling more than 17,000 adults and children. The Shamokin Area Education Foundation (SAEF) is bringing together alumni and friends of the Shamokin Area School District to invest in the future of its students. Donations are tax deductible.
