Our AOL Den kicked off the year off with our Swim Elective. The big swim test for the troop level is at the end of this academic year. This is a great way to build those skills and prepare for attempting the test!

Good Morning Pack 211,

The committee had an amazing planning meeting yesterday. We have some exciting things planned this year. The first event on the agenda is our Back to the Pack Event. This year it will be August 29, 2026 at Bennett Park 4-6p.

Please be on the look out for an email coming out. We are changing our communication platform from Slack to GroupMe. Your Den leaders will be reaching out very soon with any information on Den related activities as we get underway this scouting year.

Do you need uniform pieces and cannot make it to the scout shop? The District is hosting two opportunities for popup shopping. The time for both locations are 10a-3p.

Good Evening Pack 211,

Hopefully summer is going amazing! On July 16th our district will be kicking off our 2026-2027 scouting year. With that being said here is a some friendly reminders as we start to get back to scouting fun.

1. Make login into ScoutBook Plus to check your Scout's account. If their account renew date is July 31, 2026 please renew before July 31st. We would be so sad if your Scout could not get their advancements in September because they were locked out the system and the process had to start over.

2. Please make sure your contact information in Scoutbook Plus is correct. If you have a new phone number or email, please update. Please make sure your access to Slack is working and that you are receiving messages. Our forms of communication are Text, Slack, Facebook, and Emails. It is vitally important that you are engaged as the year goes on. If you have any issues in any of the platforms listed please reach out to the Pack as soon as possible.

3. Please be sure to continue checking messages that come your way. Please engage and interact with our wonderful volunteer leaders. We need parent participation to make this successful experience for the scouts. This is truly a family organization.

4. Please check your Scout's Class A uniform. Make sure they have either their Blue or Tan Class A ( AOL only). They will need to have their Class A uniform before our first official Pack Meeting in September. Class A uniforms are required for all Pack Meetings and District events. If you need help with acquiring a Class A please reach out to the Pack and we will be happy to help.

5. If your family's status with the Pack is changing please be sure to reach out with our Den Leaders. It helps with roster list and planning den curriculum.

We look forward to seeing everyone soon in August at our Back to the Pack. We will have information on the date in the next few weeks. Come stop by our table on August 4th during Coal Mountain Elementary's Open House. Have a great rest of your summer.
