🌟Arlo, Our Handsome Little George Clooney! 🖤

We know there are so many cats and kittens looking for homes, but we wanted to share Arlo again just in case someone missed his story.

Arlo has been in foster care since he was a tiny kitten. He and his sister were rescued after being abandoned. Arlo was found inside a mobile home, while his sister was found in the middle of the road. Thankfully, they were both brought to safety.

Now Arlo is ready for the next chapter of his life, a forever home of his own.

Arlo is estimated to be about 4 months old. He is:
✨ Neutered
✨ Vaccinated
✨ Dewormed
✨ SNAP tested
✨ Ready for adoption!

And just look at this handsome guy! Arlo is a beautiful black kitten with the cutest little sprinkling of white hairs throughout his coat. His unique coloring may be related to his mama having a fever during pregnancy, but whatever the reason, it gives him a one of a kind of look, kind of like a feline George Clooney. Dashing, distinguished, and ridiculously handsome!

But Arlo isn’t just a pretty face. He is sweet, playful, loving, and an absolute snuggler. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and kittens and would love a home where he can have plenty of companionship.

He hasn’t been around dogs yet, but given his easygoing personality, we wouldn’t be surprised if he could adapt well to a friendly dog with proper introductions.

Arlo has spent so much of his young life waiting for his person. Now he just needs someone to see him, fall in love, and say, “That’s my boy.” 🥹

🌟 Meet Shakey! 🌟 Coming Soon

Shakey was found outside, doing his best to keep up with a group of adult stray cats. Sadly, they weren’t very kind to him and would often bully this little guy.

Our founder started keeping an eye on Shakey and making sure he always had food. She had never had a cat or even dogs before, so she wasn’t quite sure what to do. She was hesitant at first, but she simply couldn’t bring herself to leave this little guy out there alone.

Shakey had one cat friend he would always hang out with, but one day, his buddy suddenly disappeared, leaving Shakey completely on his own.

That’s when our founder made the decision to bring him inside. With a little guidance, she’s been doing everything she can to keep Shakey safe, comfortable, and cared for while we work on finding him a foster home.

And what she discovered? This little guy is incredibly sweet and friendly. He was scared at first, but it didn’t take long for his true kitten personality to shine through. Once he realized he was safe, Shakey showed her just how loving and playful he can be.

Shakey has a vet appointment next week and will soon be making his way to DPS. For now, he’s safe indoors, warm, fed, and getting the care and attention he deserves.

Now we’re hoping the next chapter of Shakey’s story leads him to what every kitten deserves: a loving forever family of his very own.

🚨 URGENT: MOMMA & HER 2 PUPS NEED A FOSTER! 🚨

This sweet terrier mix momma and her two precious babies may be in need of a safe foster home ASAP.

They need someone willing to open their heart and home to this little family while we figure out the best next step for them.

Time may be limited, so we’re trying to get ahead of this.

🎉 ADOPTED: Poppy! 🐾💕

Our sweet Poppy has officially found her forever home with Victoria and Marvin! 🏡🩷 She also gained a furry sibling, and we hear they are already becoming the best of buds. 🐶🐶

Poppy’s story started in Mecca, where her mom gave birth to her and her siblings out in the desert. From those uncertain beginnings to a safe, loving home, we couldn’t be happier for our girl and her new family. 🥹💕

A huge thank you to Jeff and Edwin for fostering Poppy and giving her so much love and care. We also want to thank Albert, who fostered and cared for Poppy while she was recovering and waiting to be fully cleared of parvo. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for everyone who helped get her to this happy ending. ❤️

Victoria and Marvin, thank you for opening your hearts and home to Poppy. We wish your whole family a lifetime of love, adventures, and lots of happy memories together!

The Mecca Five 🌟
They were just being kittens. They didn’t know they were in danger. 🥺

Meet Otis, Hazel, Nala, Simba, and Calypso the Mecca Five.
These five siblings were living in Mecca when a neighbor threatened to trap and dump them after they began climbing onto his new truck.

We couldn’t let that happen. Our volunteers rushed to help, with little Calypso quickly becoming the priority. She was sick and needed veterinary care, so we got her to safety while continuing to rescue the others.

Today, all five are safe in foster care, four with Crystal and one with Raquel. We couldn’t have done it without them.

And that’s why we talk about fosters so much: they’re the bridge between rescue and a forever home.
Without a foster, we have nowhere safe to put an animal. We can want to help, but without an open door, we simply can’t say yes.

🧡 Nala, a beautiful female orange tabby. Female orange tabbies are relatively rare, making this girl extra special!

🧡 Simba, Nala’s handsome brother and a male orange tabby.

🤎 Hazel, a beautiful brown tabby girl with a sweet personality.

🤎 Otis, Hazel’s handsome brown tabby brother.

🤎 Calypso, the little girl who needed us most. She came to us sick and required veterinary care for a corneal injury. Her eye has improved tremendously. She can see, although it may remain slightly cloudy. And despite everything she’s been through, this sweet girl gets along wonderfully with his foster’s dog.

Like most kittens coming out of a scary situation, they needed a little time to feel safe. But once they settled in, their true personalities began to emerge, playful, affectionate, curious, and full of cuddles. Calypso, Simba and Hazel are all available for adoption. Nala and Otis will be ready in the coming weeks.

‼️URGENT: FOUR ADULT CATS NEED TEMPORARY FOSTER HOMES‼️

We were recently contacted by a young adult who, like many of us who love animals, saw cats who needed help and opened her heart and home to them.

She rescued these cats and gave them a safe place to live. They have been indoors, cared for, loved, and have known the comfort of having a home.

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected family situation, she is now being forced to leave her home. She has found another place to live, but she is only able to bring three of her cats with her.

That leaves four adult cats who urgently need temporary foster homes. 💔 The remaining cats cannot safely stay behind. Without a foster placement, there is a very real possibility that they could be put outside and left to fend for themselves.

These are indoor cats. They have a home. They have been loved. They should not suddenly have to become strays because of circumstances completely outside of their control.

We want to help them. But we can only step in if foster homes step up. ❤️

As a rescue, we simply cannot take in additional cats without a safe place for them to go. If you have ever considered fostering, this is a moment where opening your home could truly change a life.

* All cats are spayed and neutered. They have been around other cats and are friendly and social
* Each has their own unique personality
* They will need updated vaccines and a SNAP test before entering foster care
* We are looking for temporary foster homes while we work toward a permanent solution.

Meet Milo 🩶

Milo is our newest intake, and we’re so happy this sweet boy is safe!

Milo was spotted wandering outside a residence in Coachella Valley, where he had been hanging around for a couple of days. The founder had never seen him in the area before. Because Milo is so friendly, loving, and comfortable with people, we can’t help but wonder if he once had a home and was sadly dumped. He had no microchip and is not neutered.

With the temperatures here in the Valley being so incredibly hot, we knew Milo needed to get somewhere safe. Thankfully, Oscar and his daughter stepped up and offered to foster him. Without their willingness to open their home, we would not have been able to help Milo.

We don’t have a facility and rely completely on foster homes. Every person who opens their home gives us the ability to say YES to an animal in need. Fosters truly make rescue possible.

Milo is estimated to be about 4–4½ months old. He’s a beautiful gray kitten who may be a Russian Blue mix, or at least looks the part! 😻

He’ll soon be neutered, vaccinated, SNAP tested, dewormed, and microchipped. He should be ready for adoption around the middle of September, but pre-adoption is welcome!

Milo is super sweet, affectionate, and incredibly friendly. We can’t wait to find him the loving forever home he deserves.

🐾 MEET BICHOTA 🎶

Hi! I’m Bichota, a playful, loving 5-month-old puppy looking for my forever family! 💗

My story didn’t start out easy. My fosters witnessed someone physically abusing me and immediately stepped in to get me to safety. They had just been to a Karol G concert, so they named me Bichota, a name that represents a strong, confident, empowered girl. 💪💕

Despite my past, I absolutely love people. Talk to me in a baby voice, give me lots of amorcito, and I’ll be your best friend. 🥹 I’m very social, smart, active, and I LOVE playing ball. I’ll even bring it right back to your hand! 🎾

I’m not much of a barker, I listen well, and although some things still make me a little nervous, I’m learning every day that the world can be a safe place.

🐶 I can do well with other dogs with a slow introduction, and I can even get along with cats, although I’m still a clumsy, enthusiastic puppy sometimes! 😂

My past doesn’t define me. I’m Bichota, and I’m ready for the good part of my story. 🏡💗🐾

🎉Bowie is now MILO! 🐾 ADOPTED!

We could not be happier for this little brave soul! 🥹💙

Bowie came to us as a tiny 7-pound boy who was found underneath a car outside our friend Yuri’s home. He was severely neglected and covered in ticks. Yuri contacted us and made sure he got the help he desperately needed. We are so thankful she didn’t look the other way. 💖

After getting the care he needed and beginning his journey to healing, Bowie found his forever family. He is now Milo and was adopted by Chris and Sal! 🏡💙

A huge thank you to Kiki and Ed for opening their home and taking in this brave little soul while he healed. We are so grateful for you! ❤️

Thank you to Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Palm Desert for giving Milo his much-needed grooming and helping him feel like himself again! 🛁🐾

Milo was incredibly popular, and choosing his family was not an easy decision. Thank you to everyone who applied and opened their hearts to him. We truly appreciate you!
