Clyde Agricultural Engineering had a strong showing at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Ag Mechanics Contest!

We brought 8 projects and earned 5 blue ribbons. While we’re proud of those results, we’re even more proud of the way these students represented our program—with hard work, determination, and a willingness to learn.

Each project gave us something to build on, and we’re leaving Houston with new ideas, improvements to make, and excitement for future designs. That’s what this program is all about—growing skills that will carry these students forward, whether in agricultural mechanics or any path they choose.

We’re proud of this group and their commitment to learning, improving, and putting their craftsmanship to work.

The Rodeo Austin Agricultural Mechanics Contest was a great experience for our Clyde Agricultural Engineering students!

Our group carried 7 projects to the contest and earned 5 blue ribbons, 1 red ribbon, and 1 white ribbon. While not all of the results were what we hoped for, we are incredibly proud of these students and the work they put in.

Each project represents countless hours spent designing, building, finishing, and presenting their work. The skills these students develop in the shop—problem solving, craftsmanship, teamwork, and attention to detail—are what make Agricultural Mechanics such a valuable experience.

We’re proud of the effort, growth, and dedication shown by this group. Great job representing Clyde FFA and Clyde Agricultural Engineering! 🔧🐂💙

🔥 Clyde Agricultural Engineering Competitive Teams 🔧

We had a great first contest at the San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo! Our team brought 7 projects and earned 6 blue ribbons and 1 red ribbon—an outstanding way to kick off the season.

A blue ribbon advances a project for a chance to place in the Top 5 of its class and compete for Division Champion and Overall Grand Champion. A red ribbon means only minor improvements are needed to reach that level.

Agricultural mechanics projects demand serious skill and dedication—students learn planning and design, metal and wood fabrication, electrical work, paint and finish, and so much more.

We will find out final results in the morning, and we’re excited to see how these projects place. We are beyond proud of these students and their hard work, craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence. Way to represent Clyde! 💙🛠️

🔥 Building Skills. Chasing Banners. 🔥

Our Clyde Agricultural Engineering teams have been hard at work designing, cutting, welding, wiring, and problem-solving as they prepare for the first contest of the season, February 5–7!

These projects represent countless hours of hands-on learning, teamwork, and real-world skill development. From precision and safety to creativity and grit, these students are putting in the work—and it shows. 💪🛠️

We’re proud of the dedication these students bring to the shop every day and can’t wait to see their hard work pay off in competition. Good luck to all of our teams—go Clyde! 💙💛
