💛💙Today we say THANK YOU to ALL OF YOU! To anyone who donated a TOY or MONEY! All of this would not be possible without donations from YOU! Whether YOU shop at a store or order off amazon, whether YOU buy for an infant, 9 year old or a 17 year old...𝕎𝔼 𝔸ℙℙℝ𝔼ℂ𝕀𝔸𝕋𝔼 𝕐𝕆𝕌!!

💙Thank you to the businesses/factories that take up a company collection for toys. To receive toys in bulk from a factory or business is a real Blessing.
💛Thank you to the donors that follow our rules and don’t drop off bags/bins of used clothing or used toys. We ONLY collect used- like new coats hats & gloves. We cannot
accept anything other than coats/hats/gloves because we do not have storage, the pantry does not have storage. Also We only accept NEW TOYS. Thank you for following the rules. .
💛We only ask for volunteers when we set up & when we tear down. We always get a great hard working group who get everything we need done in a timely, efficient manner! Thank you to our volunteers! We APPRECIATE you so much!

Day 2 of Appreciation Post:

💙Thank you to the church groups, misc. groups & individuals that make blankets, whether they be knitted, crocheted, sewed, quilted…thank you for taking the time to make & donate items for people to wrap their babies in, present under the tree or to place affectionately on a couch in their first home they just got! People who are using the pantry or toy garage sometimes live in shelters, have an empty apartment or no extra blankets and they really do get excited looking for a blanket that matches their child’s room or their living space! They love seeing the fabric designs and deciding how that special gift be used by them, their children or loved one. Thank you.
💛Thank you to our ‘runners’. We had a couple ladies this year that helped us by bringing us the weekly donations that were collected by their facility. And one who even delivered a bin for us. Your help in bringing the toys to us is appreciated as we sometimes get overwhelmed in the “thick” of it and can’t get where we need to be to p/u. Thank you.
💙To the people who donate used or new hats/gloves, thank you! To have bags of gloves to choose from especially for the kids is such a blessing! Parents always ask for gloves for their kiddos!
💛Thank you to our long standing business that allow us to put collection bins up inside their business. NAPA, CENTURY 21 Bolte Real Estate, Harvest Temple Radio Station, Our City Building, This year we added the Moose at their request as a new collection point.
💙To our local stores who take it upon themselves to have a donate box whether it be for batteries or toys- we appreciate your efforts in working with your customer’s to supply much needed batteries for the toys.

We will start the day with some appreciation. Day 1 of Appreciation Post. Feel free to share📣

💙To our woodworker who has for several years makes and donates the home-made block sets for the children. Somebody within the garage we run our toy giveaway out of may know who you are, we do not. But we want you to know we love your home made blocks & bags! We always tell the young parents this is the type of gift they can save for their children to pass down to their children! We show them the shapes, the little people & the hearts you carefully make and put in the bags. You could be providing them w/ their first family tradition! I always suggest they write the year they recv'd them on one of the blocks. THANK YOU for using your hands to make these keepsakes. THANK YOU for always donating to our organization.
💛To the Knifty Knitters of Clyde, Ohio who make the pantry hats, scarfs, mittens, blankets, wash cloths, coasters, shawls, potholders and anything else...we tell people to dig til they find something they like, if they pick out a coat we remind them there is probably a hat & scarf that matches their new coat! We tell the young parents to help themselves to potholders or blankets, we tell people to find items they would like to gift others. We never know what treasures are in the bags we are opening to set out but our clients are always told to help themselves and to go through it all! THANK YOU for using your hands to make items people can use to help their children be warm! THANK YOU for always donating to our organization.
🥰To all the families that donate new or like new coats. To see a parent get excited because they found 'their child's size' and get to
walk out with a new or new to them winter coat for their child always makes us happy! This year we had a lady realize she could look at coats for herself & she said "I haven't had a new coat in 8 years! I love the coat I found here! I am so glad I was allowed to look!" Your coats do make a difference ☺️

Now that we’ve had a good nights sleep and our minds can rest. We will be making random posts with random thoughts of gratitude, things we want the public to know & maybe go over our history again as we heard from so many people they never heard of us before this year…this was our 32 year! Keep an eye on the page- feel free to share as we would love for our gratitude posts to get to the people they are meant for, for ppl to know correct info about what we collect or don’t collect & our history that makes this program so great for our community! Remember we are 💯% funded by OUR COMMUNITY FOR OUR COMMUNITY! 💙💛💙💛

Update: As of right now we have enough volunteers! Thank you for reaching out so quickly! Watch for us next year as we always ask for volunteers! Thank you! Any teen boys or girls available to help Thursday approximately 6pm-8:30pm? Duties include: breaking down boxes, packing bags, stacking bags, tearing down tables. Anything else we can do to help 😊Could use 4-5 Kiddos! PRIVATE MESSAGE us for details please! Great for anyone needing volunteer hours!
