Help us make birthdays a reason to celebrate for these youth who are currently placed in foster or kinship care. Sponsoring a birthday is as easy as:
1️⃣ Comment on this post with the birthday number you'd like to sponsor by Thursday, October 15th
2️⃣ Shop for the wishlist items listed, and place them UNWRAPPED in a box, basket, or bag
3️⃣ Drop off at one of our convenient locations (posted in the comments) by Tuesday, October 20th.

#1: Age 12, Male: Child asked for handwriting books, coloring pencils and drawing books.

#2: Age 5, Male: Child asked for Hot Wheels cars and trucks, Spidey & friend’s toys, Size 5 clothing, Size 12 shoes.

#3: Age 6, Male: Child asked for number blocks(Netflix shows), Magna-tiles, Hard animals, Wooden Train Tracks and train table. Child wears size 7 clothes and size 13 shoes.

#4: Age 12, Male: Child asked for Legos, Fidgets and Candy.

#5: Age 1, Female: Child is teething and loves to chew on everything. She also loving cuddling soft stuffies and has recently learned to walk.

#6: Age 14, Male: Child asked for a twin sized heated blanket, purple skittles and likes basketball.

#7: Age 11, Male: Child is Autistic. Child loves fidgets, any shapes, color, and size. (please not too small or he will eat them). Any sensory toys.

#8: Age 11, Female: Child asked for size 14/16 athletic wear, Women's small or 14/16 winter coat and Lego Sets.

#9: Age 11, Male: Child asked for Lego Sets, Spider man stuff and size 10/12 clothing

#10: Age 12, Male: Child asked for size 10/12 hoodies, Outdoor games/toys, left-handed baseball glove and Lego sets.

#11: Age 14, Female: Child likes Make-up, skin products, music, and drawing items.

#12: Age 10, Male: Child Likes Pokémon, plays guitar, soccer, fidgets/squishies, playing outside, riding bikes

#13: Age 8, Male: Child Likes Pokémon, soccer, crafts, fidgets/squishies, playing outside, riding bikes

#14: Age 10, Male: Child asked for Gift card-Walmart, Sweatshirt-Black size small, Soccer/Basketball, Gummies, Life Savers, Hot chips.

#15: Age 17, Male: Gift cards-McDonalds and TJ Max, Chips Ahoy, Rice Krispy Treats

It takes a dedicated community to make our mission possible, and that includes the wonderful people who help lead Giving Birthdays! Over the next few weeks, we’re excited to introduce you to the 12 members of our Board of Directors and share a little more about the people behind our mission.

We are grateful to the American Legion Post #169 Tiffin, Ohio for their generous donation through the Tiffin Crawl!! We deeply appreciate your support, which will help us spread birthday blessings to youth in foster & kinship care across the 4 counties that we serve.

🎈 Another reason to celebrate our amazing community! 💜

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the American Legion post 295 Green Springs, OH for their recent donation to Giving Birthdays!

Their generosity will help us continue providing birthday celebrations for youth in foster and kinship care throughout our local communities, making sure more children have the opportunity to experience the excitement of opening a birthday gift, blowing out candles, and having a day that feels special. 🎂🎁

Support from local organizations like the Green Springs American Legion makes our mission possible. We’re so grateful they chose to invest in the children and families we serve.

We’re incredibly grateful for their recent donation to Giving Birthdays from the Cruisin’ State Street event!

We also want to thank every community member who helps plan, host, participate in, and support events like this. When our community comes together, that generosity makes a meaningful difference. 💜

This donation will help cover the cost of the hundreds of birthday celebrations Giving Birthdays provides each year for youth in foster and kinship care throughout Erie, Sandusky, Seneca, and Wood Counties.
