Join us for Worship this morning at 10:45 am. We are looking at Matthew 14:22-33, the story of Jesus walking on the water. The title for today's message is "The Courage to Sink."
Why does the sea play such an important role in our scriptures and our church hymns? Why does Jesus send the disciples out on the Sea of Galilee when a storm was brewing? We will explore these questions and more this morning.
Also today at 5:00 - 7:00 at Wesley, 1 Wesley Dr., Clute is our annual BACK TO SCHOOL BASH! Chapelwood UMC, First UMC Lake Jackson and Wesley FUMC sponsor this event with food, games, fire truck, coast guard, police and school supplies (while they last). Come join us!

Join us for worship on June 21, 2026 as we celebrate the fathers in our lives. The Wesley Ringers handbell quartet will play two beautiful songs, Blessed Assurance and Alleluia! Sing to God! Chances are high there is a treat for all Fathers who attend worship Sunday.
Our message will be from the Gospel of Matthew 10 and the message is entitled "The Cost and Character of a Christ-Like Father"

FYI: Mark your calendars for our 4th of July Picnic open to all in the Clute Wesley neighborhood. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs provided. Those attending bring your salads, desserts and chips!
