Join us! We have fun while supporting the library!
Did you know that in addition to being a big group of volunteers and avid library users and supporters, we're also a membership organization? And that membership with the Friends is separate from having a library card?
We offer a number of membership tiers to fit different levels of support and financial capacity, and we've recently added a fee waiver for low-income people who receive financial assistance and might not be able to afford $25 a year, because we believe that everyone deserves to be a Friend!
When you join a branch chapter (if you join online, make sure to click over to the "Join your branch Friends" tab and select your branch and member level), any dues you pay over $15 go to that branch! You should also be invited to branch Friends meetings, sales, and other events, so you'll have opportunities to help shape and support the things that happen in your favorite library!
Your membership entitles you to one vote at our annual meetings, plus occasional early access to book sales. Additionally, our members are eligible to join Noble Credit Union!
