Our H.A.L.O.S.

Company Overview
We are an all-volunteer national non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) status. Our membership is made up of our board of directors, support staff, online forums’ members, committee members, and volunteers from throughout the United States and the world. Our programs are 100% funded through grants, special fundraisers, and donations from our supporters and partners. The majority of

our funding goes directly back into programs that enrich and improve the lives of the law enforcement families we support. Our Programs Include:

-Educational Scholarships
We offer educational scholarships to the spouses and dependent children of federal, state, and local law enforcement officers. Through special fundraisers, grants, and donations from our supporters, we are able to provide financial assistance to help police families complete their higher educational goals.

-WBTB Support Forums
Our online support forums offer friendship, support, understanding, and entertainment to spouses and significant others of police officers. Our members span the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia, and combine to make one incredibly unique sisterhood. *Membership is always free!

-Families Behind the Badge Support Forums
Our online support forums offer support and a safe place for the families of law enforcement officers to connect and share. We welcome all family members and officers themselves to join in the discussions. *Membership is always free!

-Blue Line Kids
The Blue Line Kids Program features a separate secure online forum for law enforcement children, ages 12-17, to connect and talk. The program also features contests, giveaways, and games for law enforcement kids of all ages.

-H.A.L.O.S. (Helping Aid Lost Officers Survivors) Program offers sympathy and support in the event of a line of duty death. Our verified members are “Angels” to the surviving spouses, families, and departments of fallen law enforcement officers and fallen K-9 officers.

-Chapters
Our state Chapters act as a local and state extension of the programs and resources we offer nationally. Our ultimate goal is to have volunteers working in each state to make sure every law enforcement family is taken care of.

In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, as National Police Week. Established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives, or been disabled, in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

Amazing! Thank you Hurts Donut - Wichita Kansas

💔 Our hearts ache for the family, friends and classmates of a local police officer and 4th grade student. Stacy Woodson and his 10 year old son, Braeden, were struck in a fatal accident last week.

In honor of their lives, TOMORROW ALL DAY at our WEST side location, we will be making special tribute donuts. 100% of the proceeds from our salute will go to the Woodson family during this desperate time. Thin blue line donuts to honor Officer Stacy and a "B" sprinkled in Braeden’s favorite color, blue, in memory of little Braeden.

Stacy and Braeden leave behind a loving wife/mother and young daughter/sister. We hope to help them through their healing by lifting any financial burden that may take away from their time to grieve.

We will also be accepting donations all week. The Hurts Donut team could not be more proud to be part of a community that comes together to comfort, support, and pray for the Woodson family in their time of need.

If you cannot join us, please SHARE this post to help us spread the word.
