✨ Calling all employees of Clovis Municipal Schools - District Offices! Make your dream classroom project happen—with help from an Education Initiative Grant! ✨

We’re seeking teachers and teams who aspire to do big things to impact CMS students. Whether you’re looking to make STEAM dreams come true or create a field trip opportunity your students will never forget, the CMS Education Foundation is here to help make it a reality.

💡 Individual projects can be funded up to $1,000
🤝 Team projects can be funded up to $5,000

🎓💜 Upcoming deadline for CHS seniors to apply for this scholarship!

Who wouldn't want $5,000 paid out over four semesters of college?! All scholarship applications are due by midnight tomorrow, March 31, 2025. Please share with any college-bound graduating seniors.

We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the CMS Education Foundation’s 2025 Honors Scholarships. Each year, we award two $5,000 scholarships to deserving Clovis High School seniors to support their higher education dreams.

Eligibility Criteria:
✅ Must be a current Clovis High School senior eligible for graduation this school year. Students at Clovis High School, CHS Early College at CCC, and iAcademy are eligible to apply.
✅ Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5.
✅ Achieve a minimum ACT score of 20 or an SAT score of 1060.

What You’ll Need to Complete Your Application:
✅ Academic Honors and Activities: Provide a list detailing:
✅ School academic or leadership awards, honors, or recognitions, including the year(s) received.
✅ Participation in school activities such as extracurriculars, band, student government, clubs, sports, etc., with corresponding year(s) involved.
✅ Community service involvement, including volunteer work, employment, or membership in service organizations outside of school, along with the year(s) performed.
✅ College Preferences: List the colleges or universities you’re applying to in order of preference, and indicate your acceptance status for each (e.g., “Accepted,” “Waitlisted,” or “Have Not Yet Heard”).
✅ Recommendations: Names of three individuals who can provide recommendations (letters are optional)
• A school counselor or principal.
• A Clovis Municipal Schools teacher.
• An external source, such as an employer, minister, or community service coordinator.
• Optional: Upload letters of support to strengthen your application (note: this section is not scored).
