Sermon Scripture: Isaiah 26:3 ESV
Sermon Title: Taking Your Mind Back

Sermon in One Sentence: The Fight for your peace is won when your thoughts stop agreeing with your fears and start aligning with your faith.

Sermon Application Point Number 1: We must get our Minds off the problem and put it on God verse 3A

"A stayed Mind is not a mind that never faces trouble, it is a mind that has learned where to turn when trouble shows up. A stayed mind does not deny the problem it refuses to make the problem bigger than God.

Sermon Application Point Number 2: Perfect Peace Comes from Perfect Trust verse 3B

"Perfect Peace is what God gives you, trust in God is how you position yourself to receive it. Peace is the condition of our hearts, but trust in God is the posture of our Faith. You cannot demand the peace of God, while refusing to surrender control to God.

Today was Gameday Jersey Sunday at our Church Impact Ministries We asked everyone who desired to participate to wear their team colors. This is a portion of our ministry that participated.

We had sooooo much fun after service, watching The Texans play The Cowboys. We ate, played dominoes, cards and had church fellowship after service.

What a TIME we had today at Impact Ministries We launched our very first Love & Marriage Seminar, and we are still celebrating what God did in the room!!!

We thank God for our amazing speakers Ke'Vric Wiggins Monika Wiggins Shamal Peets Ayesha W Peets LaToya Ross Terry and Anthony Terry who shared powerful, practical wisdom on Covenant in Marriage, Finances, and Forgiveness. Each topic was a reminder that building a strong marriage requires intentionality, commitment, grace, and keeping God at the center.

Our panel discussion was equally impactful! We had purposeful conversations that answered important questions about marriage and the different seasons every marriage will eventually walk through.

A HUGE THANK YOU to every couple who came out and invested in their marriage today! And a special shout-out to the couples of Impact Ministries who showed up and supported the vision. Your presence and participation meant so much to us!

We believe that STRONG MARRIAGES BUILD STRONG FAMILIES, AND STRONG FAMILIES HELP BUILD STRONG COMMUNITIES!
And guess what? WE'RE ALREADY THINKING ABOUT THE NEXT ONE! Because this is just the beginning!
