🇺🇸 Help Cloverdale Spread the July 4th Spirit! 🇺🇸

Cloverdale Main Street is inviting individuals, families, businesses, organizations, and clubs to decorate a patriotic picket and help bring some red, white, and blue spirit to town this summer!

Pick up a blank picket, decorate it in your own creative way, and we’ll display them on the light poles throughout Cloverdale for the month of July.

This is a fun way to show your community pride, celebrate America’s 250th year, and help make downtown Cloverdale look festive and welcoming.

Pickets are $10 each, and designs should be family-friendly and durable enough to handle outdoor weather.

🚧 Downtown Cloverdale Traffic Update 🚧

You may notice construction activity at the intersection of US 231/Main Street and Market Street. This is part of an INDOT traffic signal modernization project that will take place in phases, one corner of the intersection at a time, now through early August.

US 231 will remain open, but lanes may be narrowed or shifted during construction. Please allow a little extra time, watch for signs, and most importantly — slow down and use extra caution to help keep workers safe.

This project is an improvement for our downtown area and includes updated traffic signal equipment, curb ramp work, pedestrian accessibility improvements, storm sewer tie-in work, and other upgrades to help make the intersection safer and more functional.

There will also be a short Market Street closure planned later in the project, tentatively July 30–August 3. We’ll share more details as that date gets closer.

Thank you for your patience as these improvements are made in Cloverdale!

Cloverdale is getting a mural — and we’re so close to the finish line. 🎨

This mural is part of a larger effort bringing public art to our area, with several murals already planned in Greencastle. Now Cloverdale will have a piece of that story too.

Murals help create pride, give people a reason to stop and visit, and add something special to the places we call home.
