The Riley McLincha Legacy Fund Riley McLincha was a pillar of the Greater Flint Community supporting education, athletics, and the arts. In 2024, we lost Riley due to a kayaking accident.

We will continue to support the community that meant the world to him in our efforts.

9 years ago today, Riley McLincha won this battle. Runyaking Flint, Michigan, to the Statue of Liberty was achieved. Taking a moment to just enjoy the excitement he had this day and not think about the rest.

The McLincha family is delighted to announce and congratulate Tristan Quinn on being the recipient of the 2026 Riley McLincha Legacy Scholarship.
Tristan will be attending SVSU in the Fall. In addition to her education she was a key member of the Drama Club and worked at the Renaissance Festival.
Very kismet, the other connections she shares with Riley.
Thank you tremendously to our supporters who to continue to donate and allow us to continue this in Riley’s honor.

Do you know a 2026 Clio High Grad? Please encourage them to apply for the Riley McLincha Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship is open to a wide variety of students, as the requirement is a 2.5 GPA and the scholarship can be used for college, trade school, or any continuing education.
