Here are our nominations!

✨ Rebecca’s Reason
Providing financial assistance to families who have lost a child, helping support them during unimaginable loss.

✨ SAD
A small non-profit organization made up of Genesee County Animal Care volunteers. Since 2014, they have worked alongside shelter staff to help provide animals with the best care possible through supplies, support, and fundraising efforts that help adopted pets stay in their homes.

✨ Clio Center for the Arts
A community art school offering creative classes for all ages throughout Genesee County, including pottery, photography, drawing, sewing, crochet, candle making, and more. Their mission is to make art accessible for everyone.

We’re grateful for the amazing organizations making a difference in our community. We can’t wait to hear from each of them and see the impact our group can make together!

Tonight we heard from 3 amazing organizations and had the honor to award $3,600 to the Clio Area Community Council to help with Clio’s firework show on the 3rd of July.

We are very excited for tonight's meeting at 7pm at 5485 West Wilson Rd.

As we prepare for our upcoming 100 People Who Care Meeting, we wanted to remind you of the various options for participation, especially if you are unable to attend in person.

If you are able to attend today's meeting, you can bring your donation as follows:
-Blank Check: You can bring a check filled out for $100, leaving the name blank
-Cash: Cash donations of $100 will be accepted at the event
-Venmo: $100 can be sent via Venmo
If you find that you're unable to make it to the event, we have several convenient methods for you to contribute:
-Drop Off Contribution:
You can drop off your donation in person by contacting Kelly at (810)691-3189.
-Pay Via Venmo:

Furthermore, for those who are unable to join us in person, we're excited to offer the option to participate virtually via Google Meet. You can join the event remotely by using the following Google Meet link.

We’re excited to introduce the nominees for our February 11th meeting at 7pm.
Location: 5485 W. Wilson Rd. Clio, Michigan

1.) The Disability Network
A Center for Independent Living serving Flint & Genesee County. The Disability Network supports and empowers individuals with disabilities to live independently through person-centered services, advocacy, and collaboration.

2.) Clio Area Community Council
A dedicated volunteer committee that brings Clio together by sponsoring community events like Candlelite Nite at the Clio Candle Walk and the 4th of July Family Fun Day.

3.) Streethearts Animal Rescue
A nonprofit devoted to helping animals facing abandonment, neglect, abuse, and injury. Their work includes street intercession, medical care, rescue placement, fostering, and finding loving forever homes.

On Saturday, two of our 100 People Who Care Connecting in Clio members were honored by the Clio Area Education Foundation for their incredible impact on our community. Cindy Bryan was named Alumnus of the Year, and Marlene Wilson received the Honorary Alumnus of the Year award.

We are so proud to see members of our group recognized for their dedication, generosity, and commitment to making a difference. Congratulations on these well deserved honors, and thank you for all you do to support our community!
