We want to keep rolling with Making Disciples and with that starts another opportunity to dive deep and get into God's word.

Starting today October 1st we are journaling throught the book of Acts.

❓️What did the Disciples do once Jesus left?
🕊How did the Holy Spirit lead and guide the disciples to live?

📖 The book of Acts tells us all about the first disciples and the actions they took to be Disiciple Makers!

So pull out your journals 📕 and come along as we journal together!

We wrapped up our, Disciple Maker series, last night. We had so much fun with this series! Big shout out to Kylan for taking home the Nintedo Switch 2, $50 gift card and a TV. So proud of his and all the teens hard work to becoming better Disiciple Makers! We are not about the numbers here at Community but here are a few to get excited about....

📖 5 teens read and journaled the whole book of Matthew
📕 9 teens journaled at least one chapter
🗣 9 teens shared what they got from their reading with someone else. (Many each week)
🚶🚶‍♀️8 teens brought friends
📖 16 teens brought their Bibles (not their phone app)
💲 10 teens brought donations for the Snack Shack & Prizes.

Last night we had 20 kids attend. 11 new to our series, some first time guest, and some it had been over 6 weeks since they came last. We had 3 teens step up and lead their Disciple Group time and did a great job!

In 6 weeks we were able to share the Gospel with 27 teens.

We know that Nintendo Switch's and gift cards are earthly treasures. They are not our focus but it has been fun to reward our teens with prizes as they learn to discipline themselves to be better disciples and to be Disciple Makers!!

Congrats to all our teens who took the time to come to youth and learn more about being a Diciple! Proud of you all!

Tonight is week 2 of Disciple Maker!

Today you should be reading Matthew 2 and Journaling. Here are a few journaling tips:

1. Start with prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and show you what He wants you to see and learn.

2. As you read or listen, highlight or write down words and/or verses that standout to you.

3. Pause if you dont know a word or have questions and look up the meanings. Try comparing verses with other translations. Use the Bible app to make comparing easy.

4. Once you finish, go back to your highlights or notes and ask God which verse you should journal.

Can't wait to see you tonight! Dont forget to bring your Bible, Journal, friend, donation & dont forget to share what God showed you to someone else. Bring proof you shared and you will get points for that as well.

Last Wednesday was week 1 of 6 of our Disciple Maker series. This series includes a challenge to earn points and win a Nintendo Switch 2. The way you earn points are; bring your Bible, bring your Journal, bring a friend, bring a donation, & show me you shared scripture with someone else during the week.

If you missed Wednesday we passed out journals. We dont want you to miss a thing because our reading through Matthew through the month of September starts tomorrow. Here is how to Journal and what to Journal.

So grab your Bible, grab your journal or a piece of paper, and Journal through Matthew! Can't wait to see what God is going to teach you through this series! See you Wednesday!

Dear heavenly Father I pray you watch over our friends as they start school. Watch over the ones going to school and the ones staying home. Watch over the schools, teachers, staff, buses, and bus drivers. Watch over everyone going to and from school today. Help them be a light into their world. Help them be courageous. Help them have a pure heart, eyes, ears, hands, and feet. Help them to learn everything their taught retain it, reuse it, and never forget it. Help them be successful at all they do. In Jesus name I pray amen.

Our Back to School Bash last night was amazing! We want to thank Molina Healthcare for their sponsorship! Every teen left with school supplies. They also helped fill our tummys with 🌭 Hotdogs!

Lives were changed because of Jesus and for that God gets all the glory!

A special thanks to all who helped serve and make it a great night!
