Project SOAR grant was created to eliminate barriers to training and education for anyone who has been affected by Substance Use Disorder, whether by a family member or if you are in recovery yourself. However, Project SOAR classes are open to everyone to help open new doors in your life
We help eliminate barriers by:
✅ Providing all Project SOAR students with weekly fuel cards and meal cards
✅ Providing all tools, supplies, and books needed for the duration of the class
✅ Making sure participants have access to legal aid, referral sources, career counseling, financial education, life skills training, and employment readiness/resume building
✅ Contacting second-chance employers to help interested participants obtain jobs
✅ No-cost tuition for those who qualify
Must be 18 or older!
If you are interested in more information, have questions, or want to see if you qualify for free tuition, please contact Project SOAR case manager, Ariel Worley, at 276-523-9154 or [email protected]
