‼️IMPORTATNT UPDATE!‼️

The Fall Carnival is moving forward tomorrow INDOORS!! 🎉🎉😁😁

The Lebanon Rec Center is graciously allowing us to use the basketball court and community rooms to bring you all the Fall Carnival fun! Come at 2 ready to enjoy great games, yummy food truck foods, and even an indoor bounce house!

We will have kids competitions, the pie bake off, and the chili cook off. Leave us any questions you have in the comments below! We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!! 😄

October is SIDS Awareness Month and Safe Sleep Awareness Month!

SIDS is the unexplained death of an infant younger than 1 year old after a complete investigation. As research and death-scene investigations have improved, experts have learned more about the causes of sudden, unexpected infant deaths.

Today, medical professionals use the broader term Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) to describe unexpected infant deaths that include SIDS, accidental suffocation or strangulation during sleep, and deaths from unknown causes.

Understanding the difference between SIDS and SUID helps us better identify preventable risks and support safer sleep for every baby.

🎄 2026 Toys for Tots Distribution Information 🎁

We’re getting ready for this year’s Toys for Tots campaign! Please read the information below carefully, as the process will be a little different this year.

There will be NO online application for 2026. Distribution will be FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.

📅 Saturday, December 19, 2026
⏰ 8:00–11:00 AM & 1:00–6:00 PM
📍 Pennington Gap Town Hall
528 Industrial Dr., Pennington Gap, VA 24277

Families must live in Lee, Wise, Norton, or Scott County and should bring the required documentation with them.

Parents/Legal Guardians:
• Photo ID
• Proof of address — a recent piece of mail showing your current address
• Legal guardians must also bring guardianship paperwork

For each child:
• Birth certificate
• Medical card with the child’s name
• Guardianship papers, if applicable

⚠️ Please remember: We do not accept Social Security cards or screenshots. Please bring physical copies of all required paperwork.

For everyone's safety and to help the day run smoothly, please do not arrive on the property before 7:30 AM.

We also ask everyone to be patient and respectful of the families and volunteers around you. Anyone causing a disturbance will be asked to leave.
