Get Involved | Make a Difference | Grow our Downtown

Vision: To cultivate a vibrant downtown which attracts people, young and old, to its natural and historic features, specialty and convenience shopping and services, and recreational destinations. Onward Clintonville is a grassroots community program focused on the promotion and revitalization of
downtown Clintonville. We have established a core group of community members, business
owners, area lea

ders, and representatives from the Clintonville Chamber and City of Clintonville that meets
monthly to work on various program projects downtown and create a footing for our organization. Last quarter, our members met and discussed what Onward will focus on for the next three years as we move
into the next chapter of Downtown Clintonville. After several meetings, we narrowed the focus down to two
transformation strategies:
- Convenience Goods & Services
o Goal: We will grow Downtown offerings of Convenience goods & Services by helping to
promote existing offerings, identifying outstanding community needs, and encourage
entrepreneurs to locate themselves in Clintonville’s downtown district.
- Sports &Recreation
o Goal: Connect outdoor activities and recreational features with supporting businesses and
amenities in Clintonville’s Downtown district. Onward Clintonville is on its way to becoming an official non-profit organization with a formal Board of
Directors, Committee Heads and Committees, and a 501-C3 tax exempt status.

Some of our downtown businesses experienced some significant damage during this week's flood. Please help support Kenya's Family Restaurant and help them get back on their feet. They will be opening at AJ's Supper Club (the old Mathew's) today with their menu. Come out and support them!

BIG Onward update! 💚✨

This morning, Onward Clintonville was thrilled to present a $5,000 donation back to the City of Clintonville Tourism Commission from our 2025 holiday lighting fundraising efforts! 🎁💡

This incredible milestone was made possible by everyone who purchased our Onward snowflake ornaments and all the runners and walkers who joined our annual 5K Run/Walk. Your support truly helped us light up downtown in more ways than one. 🌟

We’re so grateful for the Tourism Commission’s partnership on the first phase of downtown holiday lighting, and we’re excited to keep working together on future phases to revitalize and brighten our awesome downtown for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.

What a productive day we had hosting this year's Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation's Main Street Orientation program along with the City of Clintonville, WI and Clintonville Chamber!

Main Street directors from all over the State came to learn best practices, resources, and ideas to helping revitalize their downtowns! Our president, Tom Lederer even brought some raffle prizes for our guests 😎😎😎
