We did our final reunion dinner with our seniors tonight. They werent all able to make it since life gets crazy when you are a senior, but were gratefu for those that could make it out!

This group started off our mentor group 5 years ago! How did time go so fast. As always, this group was wonderful to hang out with and hear their highs and lows from the past year as well as their future plans!!!!

Watch out world, these ladies are coming for you!

The Wise Guys are still looking to fundraise to help pay for their bus to Chicago. They will be selling Vande Walle’s Candy Bars. An email went out to all past/present families as well. If you didn’t get it and are willing to purchase a box to sell at your business/job sight or if you just want to purchase a box to give out as gifts/stocking stuffers for family and friends, please email Mr. Z right away. Each box is $80 and has 40 variety candy bars that would sell for $2 each. If able to help, please send us a message on here or contact Mr. Z, Ms. Hill or Ms. Carmody! We will be placing an order by the end of the week. Thanks for the support everyone! 🙂

Spent the morning visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Look at the smiles on these faces. We really are having the best time on this trip! Off to 5th Avenue and China Town. Hopefully the heat holds off! 🙂

Day 2 has come to an end! The kiddos went to the 9/11 Memorial, saw Wicked on Broadway, enjoyed authentic NY pizza, used the subway, and enjoyed time in Timesquare! Our awesome CEO took the kids on a night run to 7-11 if they choose, to get some snacks and of course a slushie!

A nice reminder of HOME! :)

Had to share a piece of our hometown that we found here in New York City! We were walking through town and we passed a fire station with some firefighters sitting on a truck with a very familiar name scrawled across the front of it! So of course we stopped and asked permission to take a photo. Hey Seagrave Fire Apparatus - look at this! So nice to see a little piece of our hometown here in this BIG city. Especially for those who are starting to miss home. Go TRUCKERS! 🙂

Today the girls took on New York’s Financial District, Brooklyn Bridge, and the One World Observitory! It was a long day of walking on very little sleep, but these young women were up for the challenge. They were also tasked with taking the silliest photo today (the winning group will find out tomorrow and win a prize) and they got creative. Now for some much deserved zzzs!
