💜 | Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜
Today, we wear purple to stand with survivors of domestic violence, honor their strength, and remind our community that no one deserves to live in fear, and no one has to face it alone.
Domestic violence isn’t always visible. It can include emotional abuse, threats, isolation, intimidation, financial control, and physical harm. Every person deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported.
Local support is available through CAP Services, Inc. Family Crisis Center.
CAP Services offers free and confidential support, advocacy, safety planning, assistance with temporary restraining orders, support groups, and emergency shelter resources.
