Thank you to everyone who was involved in the Community Thanksgiving Dinner, the Lord provided all our needs for the special day.

A total of 1,432 meals were provided Thanksgiving Day.
1,104 meals delivered or handed out. In addition to the Dine-In Option at the Eagles Lodge and volunteers. Our biggest Thanksgiving Dinner in the 37-year history of this event.

Thank you to everyone who provided the 114 Turkeys and the 254+ Pies!

Our special thanks to:
Cougars 4-H Club for the pies they baked.
Clinton National Honor Society for the pies they baked.
The Knights of Columbus of Holy Rosary for carving the turkeys again this year.
Clinton Senior Center for the use of their wonderful facilities and special Thanks to Head Cook Rosa for all your help and availability.
Scout Troop #430 for helping with the helping load the meals into vehicles.
Henry County Drug Recovery Court for help with Pie Cutting and Roll Bagging.
Dietz Family Buffet for the donation of the wonderful Rolls again this year.
Eagles Lodge & Members for the Dine-In Meal location and service.
Henry County Schools for the wonderful pictures you colored to add to all the delivered meals

While our "Official Report of the Day" will be coming soon, we do want to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped with making the Annual Thanksgiving Dinner a great success. Preliminary numbers showed volunteers delivered 1044 meals across Henry County, 60 Meals were sent out to reach the homeless in Clinton and another 175 guests enjoyed the dine-in meal at the Eagles Lodge. Our sincere thanks to everyone who played any part of this event from the Turkey Bakers, Pie Bakers, Volunteers who cooked, cut the pies, bagged the rolls, carved the turkeys, dished up meals, students who colored the pictures, delivered meals, washed the dishes and swept the floors. May God Bless each and every one for your love and generosity. We will have our official list of Thank You's to publish soon, and we hope that each meal received today was a blessing to those who received them and that the love and fellowship in which it was offered was felt.

Great News we have reached several of our Goals for the Community Thanksgiving Dinner...not all of them but some!

254 Apple/Pumpkin Pies!!!!!
26 Pie Cutters/Roll Baggers!!!
46 Delivery Driver Teams!!!!

107 of 125 Turkeys donated...still could use a few more, time is running out to defrost and get it baked!

817 Meals have been requested so far for delivery. Reminder of the Dine-In Option at the Eagles Club 12:30-2:00 p.m.

Final Monday Morning Update! Thanksgiving is only a few days away! Thank you to everyone who has stepped up once again to be a blessing to others.

We have 730 Delivered Meals requested so far. Requests for delivered meals being accepted up until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Turkey's Donated as of 8:00 a.m. this morning
98 Turkey Donated goal is 125
234 of the 250 Pumpkin and Apple Pies

40 Delivery Teams to deliver meals

We are so blessed in this community to have such giving and loving people.

Donations of Turkey's, Pies and volunteers still gladly accepted.

Friday Morning Update:

Thanksgiving is now less than a week away and we are coming down to the wire.
677 Meals have been requested so far, reservations are being accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

We have 83 Turkeys Donated
We have 215 Pies Donated

The Needs: 42 Baked Turkeys are still needed
*TURKEY BAKERS: We have had 4 frozen turkeys that we just need someone to Bake/Deep-fry/Smoke, we have them thawing out in refrigeration now.
35 Pies: Apple or Pumkin

Volunteers, we can always use Delivery Drivers we have 36 Teams so far. IF YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS MINISTRY TO THE COMMUNITY, WE WILL FIND A WAY FOR YOU TO HELP!
