We have been so touched by the kindness and encouragement our community has shown since announcing our Raise the Roof campaign.

A special thank-you to the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce for helping share our story, and to the local businesses that have already reached out asking how they can help. Your support truly means so much to us!

At Henry County Industries, our building is more than just a place to work. It's where individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to develop skills, build friendships, and take pride in the work they do while providing valuable recycling services to our community.

As we work toward our **$100,000 goal for much-needed roof repairs**, we would like to invite local businesses to become part of this important project.

📢 Temporary Closure Notice

Henry County Industries will be closed today due to a personal emergency involving our staff.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.

We will reopen tomorrow (Friday) and resume our normal business hours. Thank you for your continued support!

Update: He is home! Thank you to everyone who helped get the word out.

🚨 Missing Warehouse Cat – Please Help Us Bring Dusty Home 🐾

We’re asking for your help in finding Dusty, one of our beloved warehouse cats.

Dusty is a friendly gray tabby who is tall and skinny. He was last seen Friday afternoon before we closed. Dusty lives at our warehouse and is part of our family at our sheltered workshop, where individuals with physical disabilities work & we provide recycling services to the community. He spends his days around the warehouse and recycling area, greeting visitors and employees alike.

Because Dusty is so friendly, we’re concerned that someone dropping off recycling over the weekend may have thought he was a stray and taken him home with the best of intentions.

If you visited our recycling center over the weekend and noticed Dusty, or if you may have accidentally taken him home, please don’t be embarrassed or afraid to contact us. We simply want our sweet boy back where he belongs.

Please share this post to help us spread the word. Dusty is deeply missed by everyone at the workshop, and we’re hoping to bring him home soon.

Just a friendly reminder! Plastic & Paper is to be dropped off inside, Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

If you are not able to make it during the week, we have been placing bins outside during the weekend. Inside rules still apply to the outside bins. Guidelines are placed on the lids along with any other tips.

DO NOT be like this individual and leave items on the ground!

We said good bye to our sweet old man Lucky this morning. Anyone who came to recycle at our facility, I’m sure he has greeted at some point. He will be greatly missed by everyone! 💕🐈💕

We will be closed Monday, January 26th due to the weather conditions. If you must recycle, we have placed bins outside. Please DO NOT leave anything on the ground!
