Most of our neighbors use wood burning stoves for heat just like we do. It is an honor and privilege to work hard so that we can bless others by taking care of their winter firewood needs in one day. We cut 20' logs into 15" pieces, split them by axe, and then stacked it all. Proud of these men and the effort they gave!

Yesterday we continued working through Colossians chapter 3 at an elevation of 7,400ft for our classroom. This isn't your normal discipleship program because what is modeled and lived out from the Scriptures has far greater impact than the best "discipleship material" out there. Men long to see Christ as your life, not just a part of your life...Col 3:4.

First hike was amazing and sweet fellowship was enjoyed. The highlights were testimony night and morning class around a campfire working through Colossians...and facing fears in cliff jumping and summiting tough terrain.

First week at Mentoring Timothy is hard work as we prep for winter right out of the gate gathering firewood. Grateful to work alongside men who push themselves and are willing to do the hard things! These men are rising to the challenge and willing to learn and grow. This is a stepping stone into the hardest work, the work only He can do, the transformation of the heart. Our prayer is that we are all a much clearer Image of Christ after our year together.

By God's grace and His transformative work we have the privilege of welcoming our 6th class. We count it such a blessing to do life with fellow believers and we look forward to all that Christ will do in and through each of us. Pray for Shad, Jake, Elijah, Timothy, Nathen, Caleb, and Elijah. They come from Canada, Texas, Tennessee, Arizona, Kenya, Michigan, and Minnesota.

Mentoring Timothy was so blessed by the Spor family from Wisconsin who drove out and gave us a week to paint the staff house. It has been 6 years since we got the siding on and we are so grateful to see it finished up! Crazy to see all that God has done since 2019 and we are about to start our 6th class. We are humbled by the love and support that continues to be poured out on this ministry. All with the intent to see young men transformed and looking more like Christ. Thank you to all of you who stand with us, the Body of Christ is amazing!

So many exciting things happening at Mentoring Timothy this summer! We have a large parking pad in front of the student house that will double as a sport court for basketball, pickle ball, and volleyball. Pictures of the court will be posted later this summer. And, we are having materials delivered for the Pole Barn structure that we have raised money for over the past 3 years. The Pole Barn gets assembled over the next two weeks by the company we purchased from. We will now have various sport and activities to do throughout the winter months! We still have room for one or two more young men! If you want to grow in your walk with Christ, consider joining us and seeing what God will do in and through your life.

It is humbling to see all that God has done since 2014 as we started Mentoring Timothy and began to pray for each young man that would enroll. We are continually amazed at how God brings each of our students to MT and love the front row seat to God's transformation in a life. We can take a max of 8 but each year the Lord brings exactly who He wants and the number doesn't matter.

We focus on Christ Alone revealed through the Bible and seek to grow more in our dependence and reliance on Hm for the life He has entrusted for each one. So thankful for the impact each one of these men has had on our lives! What an honor and privilege to make much of Christ in such a unique setting. Thank you to each of you that support this ministry so generously and for those that invested so much time and energy to see this ministry happen.

A short promo to consider doing something out of the norm, potentially transformative if you yield to His working in your life. The staff and program can't change you, but much is made of Christ, who can and will change you. Still a couple of slots open for the 26/27 year.
