IOWA 💛 Let’s get to work.

Like so many young girls, I grew up sitting on the floor in front of the television each year watching the Miss America Competition. I admired the women on that stage, but I never imagined I could be one of them. They seemed too accomplished, too talented, too intelligent.

This weekend, in my final year of eligibility, I stepped onto the Miss Iowa stage carrying years of preparation, sacrifice, and hope. More than anything, I prayed for peace.

And God answered that prayer. Not with certainty. Not with a guarantee. But with an overwhelming sense of peace that stayed with me every step of the way.

Today, my heart is filled with gratitude.

Gratitude for the volunteers, sponsors, directors, judges, board members, and supporters who continue to invest in this organization because they understand what it can do for young women. The Miss America Opportunity is so much more than a crown. It is a place where all are challenged to grow, lead, serve, and discover what they are capable of becoming.

As your Miss Iowa, my commitment is simple - to use this year in service to others and to work every day to leave Iowa a little better than I found it.

To the Miss Iowa Class of 2026: You challenged me, inspired me, embraced me, and reminded me that excellence looks different on every woman. It was an honor to share this journey with you. 💛

Iowa, thank you for trusting me with this responsibility. I will never take it for granted.

☀️ Team Clinton County Recap! ☀️

Sarah and Emily showed exemplary poise, intelligence, grace, and humility throughout the weekend. We are SO proud of their performances and how they embraced the entire experience. Team MCC is lucky to have you both, and the entire Clinton community is so proud to have you represent us.

⭐️ Sarah shone through all phases of competition and is one of the most genuine, kind, hilarious people you’ll ever meet. She earned her spot as a Top 11 Finalist and had a community that helped her win the Top Ticket Sales Award!

⭐️ Emily, our NEW MISS IOWA’S TEEN, has kept us laughing and in admiration of her grit and tenacity all year. She also won Overall Interview, Overall Evening Gown, and People’s Choice!

Our Miss Clinton County dazzled onstage and is a Top 11 Finalist at Miss Iowa 2026! Sarah, we are so proud of your grace, authenticity, and kindness throughout the week and onstage. Though your accomplishments are many, your worth lies far outside any crown or placement or award and we are thrilled to always be part of your cheerleading squad - no matter where life takes you. We love you!!!! 🩵
